Brilliantly designed ball for Russian dwarf hamster. Perfect size. I like that it is non-coloured and clear, think this makes it easier for little Joe to navigate around. Unlike some reviews, I have had no problem with the clasp on the entry lid coming open, it seems very secure and it has been used rather excitedly a good ten times now. The quality has not subsided and Joe has not escaped. No sharp edges from what I can see and the breathing holes are just the right size; his little feet do not come through nor does it present any discomfort. Would highly recommend!

Really brilliant it locks very safely so your hamster can enjoy a safe playtime. I have two hamsters but already had a ball from pets at home I am buying another one of these and throwing the other one out.as these are stronger and safer and you can see inside as your pet runs around. Well worth the extra cost.

awesome ball, the click and lock is super secure and tight, the plastic is firm and top quality, perfect for our Chinese dwarf, she loves it, im not sure on the exact science but i am sure she sees through it clearly, better than the coloured balls, cant fault this item at all

Good quality. It's a bit too hard to put it together. But one you do it it's stay ok. Easy to clean. A bit pricey. Could be a bit cheaper.

This little dwarf hamster ball is great.not only does it only have one opening instead of two but when you close it it shuts really tight so you don't need to sellotape the opening.It is clear as well so the hamster can see where its going..excellent ball..i recommend this one highly.

The slots in this are very wide and a bit of a danger for toes getting trapped in them, so I returned it. I haven't found a suitable ball of 25cm or 30cm yet. The Savic one is the best made with the best size slots but I found this to have some sharpish point bits near the lid fitting, which would not be good for rodents feet at all, but if you're handy with a file or sandpaper it might be adaptable.

Perfect for our very little Russian dwarf hamster! I have had other running balls in the past but this one is the best so far, fully click-in locking mechanism and I'm sure he would never be able to escape from it. Am very happy & quick delivery.

Really high quality construction with click-to-lock door. Make no mistake, this is a LARGE ball but it's perfect for a large syrian hamster. Our little Meeko loves it!

You get what you pay for, but unfortunately, for some reason, the quality is a bit low.. the cap on one of the balls does open by itself and doesn't close properly.. would be a really nice item if quality was a bit better.

Fazit: - Super Abwechselung in Form von Schnupperausflügen (für Nager interesanter, als für Menschen) - Eine gute Unterbringung für die Dauer der Grundreinigung im Terrarium - Hamsi muss nicht gefangen werden, er geht freiwillig rein - sehr gut für Hamster, die Angst vor dem Fangen haben. Zu beachten ist: - Hamsi darf in der Kugel natürlich nur auf dem Boden ohne Treppe in der Nähe laufengelassen werden, damit er nicht runter fällt. - An manchen Stellen kann die Kugel stecken bleiben, so dass man sie immer im Auge behalten sollte. Gewöhnung an den Ball: - Zunächst dürfte Hamsi rein (freiwillig, er wurde nicht reingestopft) - da er nicht wieder raus ging, wurde die Kugel verschlossen und kurz auf den Boden gestellt; und dann wurde dem Hamster wieder frei gestellt in sein Reicht hinauszugehen, was er gleich tat. - Das ganze wurde an dem Abend 5x wiederholt, wobei Hamsi jedes Mal gleich freiwillig in die Kugel ging und immer etwas länger auf dem Boden laufen gelassen wurde, wobei er sehr of hier und da neugierig schnupperte. (So schnell geht Hamsi nicht auf die Hand, da ist er viel vorsichtiger, auch wenn er sich mittlerweile streicheln lässt.) - Danach haben wir Schluss damit gemacht, weil wir dachten, dass es für den Anfang reicht.

Works great for our dwarf hamster. Seems sturdy and does the trick. It’s the perfect size at a great price!
