Excellent ink but make sure that you know how it works!
(Written by Brenda's husband who still writes manually with a fountain pen) I've been meaning to get some for ages and when I finally got a round tuit, I was not disappointed. When you first start to write, it is as stated of a pale milky blue colour. Depending on the sort of paper that you write on, the ink quite quickly darkens in colour to an intense blue-black. It is only a matter of minutes though the final full effect could well take an hour or longer. The exact finished product seems to depend on the paper used. Some producing a blue undertone whilst I noticed that standard, computer printing paper had a mauve undertone. I wrote something on some very highly glazed paper, probably heat treated and it remained the initial blue colour. 15 hours later it looked like some standard blue-black ink that had been heavily diluted. I would thus suppose that the main agent for producing the full blue-black effect must be a reaction with the cellulose in the paper. The writing on the glazed paper was left in the light which seemed to be having very little effect. I shall enjoy further experimentation but the omens are that if you use traditional unglazed paper, you should meet with no problems and be well satisfied with the end result.

Good waterproof ink
Highly waterproof ink, which darkens from blue to darker blue or black, depending of time and amount of ink. Perfect for lasting writing without using pigmented ink, which might clog you pen easier; that I know of experience.

Interesting ink.
Does not bleed through crap paper and dries very quickly. This ink does not work well in my fine nibbed Platinum fountain pen and dries up mid writing. Much better in a medium nib.

Excellent ink for legal documents
I bought this ink as I am a wedding registrar. When I first used It I was worried as it writes in a greyish colour but as it dries it turns much darker. It might have been my imagination but it also seemed to write more smoothly than my other inks. As with most permanent inks I believe it contains iron so I wash my pen out after each wedding and refill a few days before. Highly recommend.

Just what I needed

Amazing transition.
Amazing ink. Blue at the beggining and black at the end. The only annoying thing is that if someone uses this ink should keep in mind to dear his fountain pen more often.

Watch what you write...
Watch what you write with this ink... literally - watch as it goes on blue and then dries black. Fun - eh? Also - watch what you write too, because once it's in your registers it'll be there for hundreds of years... mind you, I won't be there to check that claim and neither will the manufacturers but I guess we take their claims on trust...

Cool colour but very dry ink.
Found this ink to be super dry in my Lamy Safari and even in my Lamy 2000 (F nib). I do still like it, but it writes very dry and colour slowly becomes lighter as I write. If you are looking to write in cheap paper, this ink is great for that. Would work best for a bigger good flowing nib I think.

Klassische Tinte
Eine sehr schöne klassische Eisengallus-Tinte. Blaufließend und dunkelt sehr schön nach.

Genial
Muy buena tinta. Es realmente permanente. Me encanta el efecto que hace el color de oscurecerse con el tiempo. Soy un gran fan de las tintas ferrogálicas.

Amazing ink
My bottle has not arrived yet but I have used this ink many times. It goes on a pale blue color which slowly starts to turn darker within a few seconds. It's kind of cool to write a half page really quickly and to notice how the ink transforms on the page one letter at the time in the order in which it was written. Eventually the color becomes a near black dark blue. Very professional looking. I especially like how this ink can be used on awful paper and it still does not feather or bleed through. It is very water resistant but my understanding is that it is not forgery proof as there are solvents which can be used to erase it. The ink is more expensive than the regular Diamine lineup but the ink is well worth it. This type of ink is an Iron Gall ink. You can Google the history of these wonderful inks. It is more acidic than regular inks and does require more frequent cleaning. To be fair I don't clean my pens THAT often and I found this ink to be very well behaved. I would not let it dry out in a pen. Nor would I recommend using it in a vintage pen. The acidic nature of the pen does mean that a steel nib will eventually get corroded but even though this sounds scary, the properties of this ink are so wonderful that it's totally worth it. Use it in a cheap pen at work and you will not go back. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

求めていたブルーブラック
書き始めはすごく透明感がある青色で乾けば落ち着いた黒になりました。 求めていたブルーブラックです。 なくなったらまた、購入したいインクです。

Parfaite !
