These shoes are tough and have good water resistance. I’ve bought them 4 times. Probably never buy anything else.

I won't mince words here. After trying my first pair of Merrell hiking shoes about 10 years ago, I won't wear anything else. It's my daily shoe as well as my hiking shoe. Merrell's are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn and don't need any time to break in. They are perfect right out of the box. The Moab 3 and Moab 3 waterproof are my two go-to models.
