Haven’t used this steamer yet but it seems great and much better than the one I’m replacing. I read the comments about the stubborn sticker and they were right!!! Thought I would offer my solution. I got it off with 91% isopropyl alcohol. Pour it on, let it soak and scratch it off with a plastic picnic knife. I did that 3 times and now it’s clean and shiny. No problem!! Now I can use the steamer. 5 stars cause everything else looks great. Love the handle!! (I’ll send a different comment later if I’m wrong!)

I bought this in order to steam tamales in a pot. It was perfect for the job! Sturdy, well-made, the basket folds up smoothly and then opens out so I can place it in the pot. The size was just right to use in my roaster pan. I love the little feet on the bottom and the plastic handle on the top was great because it didn't get too hot to grasp. You can put it in the dishwasher to clean. Good value to the money. Very happy with this!

It is not flimsy lime the rest, the handle keeps you from getting burnt, the legs are fantastic...when you are done steaming and you pull up your food, the basket stays close so the food doesn't fall out. Highly recommend...

A nice steamer basket with plenty of elevation via the folding feet to keep your steamables out of the boiling water. However, there is one glaring gripe I have... I hope the person responsible for the placement of a paper product sticker stuck onto the bottom surface of the device would experience the joy and dedication it takes to actually remove the darn thing . Could they not find or afford a removable label? Or maybe, just put the damned label on the containment bag instead of the actual product! Seriously, those labels should be put to a better use--like securing Fort Knox or something. Nearly impossible to remove cleanly, they have no business being plastered to the bottom of a holey substrate used in food preparation.

Besides this one, I have a smaller stainless steel steamer insert and a silicone one. This one is the sturdiest and largest. The size is perfect for my large All Clad dutch oven. The retractable handle and adjustable legs are a perfect enhancement. Highly recommended.

I got fed up with my old steamer basket which was always having fins fall off when I washed it. I finally tossed it and ordered this one. It's very sturdy and I like the folding legs and grab handle. It is not a boxed item so hopefully your Amazon packer won't stuff it in envelope instead of a box like one reviewer complained about who ended up with a broken mess. It does have a UPC label stuck to the bottom which doesn't come off easily. I assume it's there because it's not in a box. Soak it in hot water and peel off what you can and then hit it with a Brillo pad to get the glue off.
