Silk Clay Basic I , Assorted Colours , 10 x 40 g

Great clay that air drys. My 6yr old son always wants to model things so this is the best option! Not messy.Dries on its own ,and is nice and colourful ( no need to paint). Have to be careful the lids are placed back on, or it does dry out. Apparently it can have water added to make it mouldable again but I’ve not done this. So many colours. And the items made are nicely flexible so they don’t snap apart like hard clay. We have bought this brand multiple times.

This clay is really easy to work with and doesn't need to go in the oven and take forever to dry. This is the first time I've worked with this type of clay and would never go back to traditional clay. When it dries, it has a foam like texture. I advise that you take out only the amount you need and close this lid after popping it back into its container. I wrap mine in clingfilm and then into the pot to help keep it from drying out. If it feels a little dry, put a drop or two of water (no more)!

Not just for kids! I mainly work on 'real sculpting' but this stuff is very good fun and achieves some nice results for little models. Smells nice, feels lovely and velvety and easily forms small details. Other brands available seem to be smaller tubs, greasy and not as pleasant smelling, so I'll be sticking with this one, I think!

They’re ok. A bit tiny to how I imagine those containers to be. Never used silk clay before til now. They are like foam once dried and it doesn’t take that long. It’s very lightweight and good for my project making keyrings. But Material is so bouncy, it’s not the best if you wanna create textures but it’s good that you don’t need to bake it .

Not something my grandkids and me will be trying again. Dries too quickly in our view. Is relatively mess free though and comes in various sizes,with a good variety of colours. Feels soft. Probably fun for lots of kids though!

Great product , smells really nice . dries soft and foam like . very therapeutic . i was unsure what to expect when i ordered but i have enjoyed playing with it very plyable and fun

Arrived fast, was well packaged and the clay itself is beautiful to use. Bought from both their amazon store (silk clay) and their normal website shop (bought silk and foam clay) and always been really great quality. Cant recommend enough!

I chose the 5 star rating because the item arrived much earlier than promised. There is great selection of colours and works out much cheaper to buy in bulk like this than individually Great for children and adults too. Its so easy to mould and feels pleasurable to work with. Prompt delivery which is always a winner for me. Many thanks .

Le ho prese con una super offerta e non me ne sono pentita. Mia figlia ci gioca in continuazione. Se conservate nel modo giusto non si asciugano, anzi durano davvero tanto. Non ne abbiamo buttato un solo grammo, quindi la qualità è ottima. Funziona come la plastilina, con la differenza che se si lascia la forma asciugare all'aria diventa una statuetta leggera e resistente. Noi abbiamo creato tante bamboline con cui la bambina gioca senza paura che si rompano. Le ricomprerò sicuramente, aspetto solo un'altra offerta perché altrimenti il prezzo sale, e parecchio

Se nota que es de calidad. Tiene un tacto esponjoso y es muy fácil de moldear. Está genial para hacer figuritas con los niños. Si buscas, hay multitud de ejemplos para hacer animales, monstruos, pokemon y lo que se te ocurra.

Ich habe mir diese Silk Clay gekauft um evtl. eine Alternative zu Fimo zu haben. Da ich kleine Figuren daraus mache aber nicht wirklich zufrieden bin mit Fimo wollte ich es mal hiermit versuchen. Natürlich haben mich einige Bewertungen abgeschreckt und ich habe echt mit mir gehadert ob ich es kaufe aber am Ende dachte ich `schei...drauf kostet ja nicht die Welt` Als es ankam musste ich es natürlich sofort auspacken und habe es wirklich auf "Herz und Nieren" getestet... Wie oft beschrieben, kommt einem wirklich nach dem öffnen einer Packung sofort ein Seifenblasenwasser ähnlicher Geruch entgegen ABER ich persöhnlich empfand/empfinde es nicht als schlimm, nachdem man das Silk Clay etwas geknetet hat verfliegt der Geruch und ich habe ihn kaum noch war genommen... Auch nachdem das Silk Clay getrocknet ist (jeh nach dicke 1-3 Tage) ist der Geruch wirklich so minimal das man ihn nur noch riecht wen man direkt ran geht und einen richtig tiefen Atemzug nimmt aber selbst dann ist er gering Wahrnehmbar... Man kann das Silk Clay Problemlos mit Acrylfarbe bemalen auch das Lackieren klappt gut, habe dafür den Fimo eigenen Lack benutzt. Das Material ist in der Verarbeitung wirklich einfach zu handhaben, da es kaum Fingerabdrücke oder Fussel annimmt aber klar etwas muss man trotzdem aufpassen. Es gibt auch an der Arbeitsfläche oder sonst wo keine Rückstände auch färbt das Silk Clay nicht ab, wodurch man einfach zwischen den Farben hin und her wechseln kann... Untereinander haftet das Material gut. Sobald es getrocknet ist bleibt es wie beschrieben leicht und Flexibel und daher ist es auch nicht so Bruchempfindlich...Die Optik ist leicht samtig und auch vom Gefühl ist das getrocknete Material sehr angenehm. Ich hab ne weile überlegt woran es mich erinnert, dann fiel es mir ein, man kann es getrocknet mit Moosgummi vergleichen, die Textur ist zwar feiner und es wird etwas härter aber so kann man es sich ungefähr vorstellen. Das vermischen der Farben und auch Farbverläufe gehen ohne grosse Probleme. Für mich ist das Silk Clay eine klare KAUFEMPFEHLUNG ich bin total begeistert und ich werde mir definitiv noch mehr davon bestellen!!! MFG
