We've started bird watching -- again. As soon as we put up the bird feeder, the squirrels (our friends) started to climb on our enclosed screens on our back porch. In order to not harm the squirrels but deter them from climbing the screens, we chose this squirt gun as a deterrent: IT WORKS! It is very well built. It's made of strong plastic. It's like the old fire hose pumps they used in the very early 20th Century. It holds a lot of water too. When my wife and I go out to watch the birds, we fill it up and take it out with us. The squirrels flay their bodies on the screen and one shot of this water gun sends them running. It's satisfying to watch and we also know we are not harming the squirrels at all. In fact, we give them a bit of a shower. So far this works excellently for keeping the squirrels off our screens. It would be great for kids as long as you told them not to point it at another kid's eye as it shoots out pretty strong. It's colored with a white body and orange markings on it. The trigger isn't a trigger but just for your fingers to grip it and hold the water gun stable. This would be a blast in the summer to cool off. For us, it is a humane way to control squirrels on our screens without harming them. After all, they were here first, not us.

Actually got this for my husband to chase squirrels out of his garden. He laughs, dogs have fun and although a little damp squirrels not hurt!! So we are all happy!! Works great!! Long range, good water capacity and sturdy.

This water gun is great! The slide action works smoothly and easily, the barrel refills quickly, and it holds a lot of water. It shoots 20-25’ or more. It would be great fun for kids. For now I’m using it to convince the squirrels that they don’t want to eat the birds’ food. It’s exactly what I needed!

Nice “pump” squirt gun. I wish it were powered but I only use it to shoo away the rabbits. Shoots about 30’.

Cool, easy to fill and use water blaster

Comfortable to handle and hold for kids and adults alike, X-Shot water guns with the Fast Fill feature makes water gun battles a lot of fun. I personally like their designs and have been using the fast fill water guns for several years. They shoot pretty far, using the front grip 'charging handle' instead of pumping air into the reservoir and using a trigger. Overall, it's a great value and lots of fun.

Need to refill but will soak a constant target. For around $ 7 bucks you send a stream of water 5 to 10 feet. Wind will send your stream elsewhere. I bought to douse the starlings in my fig tree. Would have purchased a more expensive one like ten bucks or more to really knock a bird out of the tree. This one only scares them, effective , but now I want more of a powerful stream.

AMAZING, affordable, easy, fun, instant party hit! Recommend these to anyone looking to entertain a party of kids without breaking the bank. And they shoot pretty darn far too, as far or farther than the expensive "sniper" battery powered water gun used in the birthday party water gun battle. Each gun of the 4 we ordered worked amazingly right out of the box. even the smallest of kids figured out how to fill and shoot within 2 minutes on their own. Very intuitive. Love, love, love! Worth every penny.

Great water gun! Used for senior splashin and my kid was able to reach people from a far distance!

Anti-cat water cannon. Works as desired. Has yet to leak. Pop the back open and fill it up. Pump it and it sprays as you push the lever toward you. Simple as.

Same as the local store at a better price. Kid loved it as now he has the same (diff colour) as his older brother so it's an evenish fight
