This product it,s good for the rain? And, for what rain -

It has a good initial waterproofing but not generally great for anything other than a light rain shower. I have used fjallraven wax on mine and works a treat in all weathers.

Should I buy a my actual size or smaller seen some reviews about it been baggy?

The reviews I read indicated that you should buy a size bigger as there will then be room for a warm sweater underneath. I bought a Large as apposed to a medium that I would normally have gone for and it seems just right. Hope this helps. David M.

what size in inches(chest) is the xxl please?

I'm a 42 inch chest and XL is slightly large on me, but got it so I can layer underneath it - hope this helps - v pleased with smock though
