Helpful pocket reference.
Very helpful pocket reference. As with most of these titles they make good advance reading to help you prioritize what to see and where to eat. It has good maps and really does fit in your pocket!

I bought this guide for a family member who is planning a trip to Istanbul. This guide was in perfect, like new condition as described. The map looked like it was brand-new. All the basics.
I like this series and buy them whenever one is available for a city I'm traveling to. Like the compact size and included waterproof map.

Very well-designed
DK knows that no one wants to lug a heavy book when touring a new city. These pocket travel guides are well-designed with the information that you will want to know but not so much that the book is thick and heavy. Sometimes we took the book along and other times, we just pulled out the laminated map. It's also great to quickly read up on whatever you are going to see.

Great resource for the trip
I always buy travel guides prior to my international travel to make plans for visiting specific sights, and this one has decent quality pictures and a lot of information for a very small size. I will carry it in my backpack:)

Fits in your pocket
This is what I wanted. Small and lightweight, good map and a list of topsides etc with a little description and fees.

You been a minimum of two days for your visit.
Just right for a trip round Istanbul. Has all the information of the most important sites to visit plus photos and a map. Remember to cover past your elbows and knees in the mosques and women must cover their hair. The buildings are stunning. Try and include a visit to the underground Cistern Basilica, well worth it. Visiting Istanbul is truly a magical experience and this small book will help you with your journey and it will be a useful keepsake of your your time there. The people there are very friendly.
