The Current is designed to fit a range of head sizes. It includes 12 pads of different thicknesses that you can easily mix and match for a custom fit.  A multi-impact shell combines with an EVA foam liner and a polyurethane sub-shell to effectively dissipate impacts.  Soft EVA foam pads line the sub-shell for extra protection and comfort. They attach with hook-and-loop patches.  The Interconnect Retention System works as an adjustable harness to ensure a safe and secure fit.  Available in non vented or vented, vented keeps you cooler and lets water drain.  The WRSI Current Helmet is designed to provide maximum safety for whitewater kayakers, rafters and canoeists, with a highly adjustable and comfortable fit. High quality and user friendly. WRSI stands for Whitewater Research and Safety Institute, an organization founded to advance whitewater safety awareness and technology.

- 3-Layer Impact Absorption: A lightweight, high-impact carbon composite shell combines with an EVA foam liner and a polyurethane sub-shell to effectively dissipate impacts.
- Interconnect Retention System: Interconnected straps securely hold the helmet in place under hydraulic forces. As the force of water pushes the helmet back, the interconnect system self-adjusts to hold the helmet firmly in place.
- O-Brace Harness: The adjustable O-brace harness comfortably conforms to the back of the head to help keep the helmet safely positioned.
- Performance Outfitting: Plush breathable liner compresses and conforms for a snug, comfortable fit every time. The liner can be easily removed for drying or washing.
- Shell Material: ABS plastic with a polyurethane sub-shell

    I am a commercial fishermen in Alaska and a good helmet is prudent to my safety. Great fitment, bright color, comfortable and it stays in place on your head. Anyone knows if the helmet is bouncing all over your head it’s trash. This helmet is 100% all around. Love it!
