I didn't need a lot of cubes so this worked for me. It's perfect for my small smoothie maker. The packaging is wonderful - each tray is wrapped and then wrapped overall. I like silicone but this has a frame so it won't spill on the way to the freezer. They each have a lid, as well. It also comes with a small set of tongs. It's easy to stack and the same size as a regular ice cube tray so I didn't have to shift everything in the freezer. I received it the other day so I haven't tried to get the cubes out but if giving it a twist (as with other silicone trays) doesn't work, I'm okay with that.
