Good kit. Works.
Tested both gold and silver and it works. When testing silver it was hard for me to clearly see if the drops turned red when applied to silver and when applied to non silver material- in other words I really couldn't tell the difference. The way to clearly see the results is to fold a paper towel and wipe up the drop you placed on the silver test - if its real silver there will be a red spot surrounded by yellow and the paper towel. If its not silver there will only be yellow on the paper towel. The stone that comes with the kit is very small - buy a larger one, cheap on Amazon.

Good beginner tools
Besides a small leak/smell with one of the containers, so far so good. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet though. I appreciate the storage box and complete set of tools included. I especially like the loop. I haven’t used that.
