Best tea in the world - leave to infuse for 4 or 5 mins. I now have a selection of single cup tea infusers to use the leaf tea.

I am very HAPPY with my purchase! I bought the tea as a present for a friend in Australia and it is now en route to Sydney! It's on quite a global adventure! My friend is very much looking forward to his afternoon tea when it arrives as he has been unable to purchase pure Sri Lankan Ceylon loose tea in Sydney. I like the tea very much but I was very disappointed that the expiry date of the tea was just a couple weeks from my purchase date. The tea had been packaged 2 years ago. If you purchase the tea from Amazon CHECK the expiry date.

The taste is good, but the loose tea is actually loose dust. The particles are so fine that they go through the strainer and end up in the cup. Not a premium product.

I was given a present of Dilmah Tea from a friend who had recently visited Sri Lanka, liked it so much.

Since trying this tea I've turned into a tea snob... all others just don't compare! Just a shame it's so hard to get in the UK as I was living in New Zealand and it's one of the main teas in the supermarkets there. Such a good cuppa!

I adore Dilmah tea, and have bought this for several years, delighted with it (as - being a tea connoisseur - I believe that. Dilmah produces the finest teas in the world). Unfortunately this latest batch has proved something of a disappointment; being extremely fine, dusty, and lacking in flavour and aroma. Please, Dilmah, return to the previous way you used to produce this tea; as this is nowhere near the quality we’re used to from you! That said; it’s still a far superior tea to many on the market. The package size is reasonable; however, on the downside there’s a fairly hefty delivery charge.

Read the reviews and look at the pictures. This is not loose leaf tea. It is finely ground tea. It is amazing and delicious and I really enjoy it (even though I have more expensive and fancier teas and yadda, yadda, blah, blah...) I started out unhappy with this, tried to make a cup with a strainer and it was not what I was looking for but I could not deny that even as over-strong as I made it it was smoooth and good. Really good. My best results come from pouring a tea spoon into a small pot and letting it steep for a bit - I then our off the top and use a strainer. It is magnificent. I have also used the kind of tea bags I fill myself and they were OK but I should have weighed the tea. (It is in the instructions, I think 2 grams. I use a little tea submarine in cold water for iced tea and it is now my favorite tea for that. It is so smooth I nearly got high last time I drank it, I drank so much. The fact is, if you are on here looking for new tea to try this is one you may want to pick up. It may not impress the fancy tea fanciers and it is a very good cup of tea. Caveat emptor: you may drink more than you planned.

You can see the state of the tea in the photo. It’s just dust. It is not broken orange pekoe loose leaf tea. I am not even sure what to do with it now.

Well packaged. The bag has a nice fermented aroma. States it's BOPF, and it's very broken OPF. Brews cleanly. Tea has a nice, clear color and a very delicate aroma. The tea is soft, floral, and vegetal, with a hint of sweetness. Good value for the price.
