Beautiful chrome paint, applied correctly you can archive a mirror looking chrome effect, however, is not for beginners. You'll need to apply a very, VERY, shiny base black before painting with this. I'd recommend using the Alclad II Base Black for that. You'll also need a compressor with adjustable pressure, they recommend spraying using between 12 and 15 PSI, so make sure to follow the instructions in the bottle. If done properly, you'll get a nice shiny mirror looking chrome finish, otherwise, you'll get something similar to an aluminum finish. Practice before trying to apply the piece you are working. It is important to know that the fumes from this are very strong and toxic, so you'll need a proper respirator mask, spray in a well ventilated room and I would recommend using a spraying booth to minimize the fumes. Never underestimate the toxicity of lacquers, protect yourself! All in all, a great paint, that needs the proper equipment and technique to use correctly.

Very shiny. I sprayed fiberglass with airgun, & looked metallic. Seems thin, but sprayed on very nicely.
