Nice looking model with good weight to it. The lights are a really nice touch. There is a tiny red light next to the power switch while charging (comes with cord) so you know it's charging. Some have said the nose gear doors don't come off, but they do. They are just a folded piece of metal, and one can pull it out with pliers. Thus no meed for landing gear if you"re hanging it. The base is polished wood and metal - no plastic. Nice quality!.

I wanted a good size model as I retired from Southwest Airlines, and love the company. This model is terrific in every way and the fact that it lights up is a fun feature. I think about all the fun I had as a crew member every time I look at it.

The charging cord didn't fit well into the airplane....the lights worked at first then went dark....after charging it for some time the lights would come on dimly for a few seconds then it goes dark again. And also the nose gear didn't fit correctly and it took some work to get it in position correctly. All I want is a replacement but at best all Amazon will offer a refund 30 days after having received the plane.....so all in all it was a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. >>>>>>>>> UPDATE >>>>>>> Lose Fun Park replaced my SWA Lighted 737 and it works great. The charging cord fit perfectly and after a one hour charge days later it still is holding it charge and lights on demand along with my American Airlines 787 Dreamliner.....Thank you Lose Fun Park Fun for making this right.....and now I'm looking foreword to buying the Air Force One 747 !~!~!~!~ and maybe more.

The detail is most awesome, and works perfectly!! At night when you tap the lights on is just awesome. Just wish they would stay on a little longer!!

For the amount of money this plane cost the wheels and accessories should be way better!
