O'Neill Wetsuits Child Reactor USCG Life Vest

This seems to be a well-made life vest. I have a tall and lean 8yo that hates getting her face wet, which means we’ve been putting off swimming lessons for our own sanity. Now, faced with a beach vacation, I wanted something that would be comfortable and that I could trust to keep her safe in the ocean (under supervision, of course). This is highly durable neoprene material—a $20 lifejacket from Target or Walmart, this is not. I like the addition of the handle on the top and the strap between the legs. I wish that there was a neoprene sleeve on that strap as I imagine that may rub the skin and make it sore. I might order something that will work on my own. I got it on sale for roughly $60 and that seems like an absolute steal. I will update after it’s been worn consistently.

The fit is spot on! It is lightweight and comfortable. Easy to move it and my son doesn’t mind wearing it for hours on end. The color is vibrant and it’s durable! The price isn’t bad, but you can’t put a price of safety for your child!

Fits perfect with room to grow! My son is 2 years and 8 months. He’s 34lbs and 37” tall. We got this for our river trip. It’s perfect size for him at the tightest option. Super safe that it has the strap around their pelvic area. This is definitely worth the money for a strong, study and safe life vest. He will be able to wear it for a few more years!

We bought this for our child's first beach vacation. It worked well and there were no complaints about wearing it the entire day, so it must be comfortable.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is a tiny thin 5 year old. I think she weighs 38 pounds. It fits her great.

Very good and practical

I got this for my 6yr old son who loves getting in the ocean even though his swimming skills are non existent! This has definitely reduced my stress levels. He is tall for his age 122cm and it is a good fit, not too big but not tight either. I particularly liked it has a strap underneath as didn’t want it riding up over his face in the waves. He definitely feels more confident and I feel less stressed
