Review: I am converted - I usually go for aquilla strings but I had a Uke I was using through an effects pedal and it was sounding a bit too shrill. So for the price these were worth a try. I am now a convert to Ernie Ball, the black strings do look cool 😎 but the sound is excellent, they do take a bit longer to settle in to stay I tune but after a week they are settling down and stay in tune through out play. The added bonus is they are ball end, I have ukes with peg, tie and slot fittings. I’ve used these now on both peg and slot with no issue. No reason why not to use on a tie bridge as you can slide the ball off and tie off. So would I recommend... cool look, great sound, easy fit, stay tuned, great price... hell yeah. I’m now on my second set for a second Uke of mine.

**Q: This works for tenor?**
A: These work with Concert and Soprano ukuleles.

**Q: How many in package?**
A: 4

**Q: What guage equals what note ? very confusing to me ( a newbie) that the packages only have numbers and not notes. help!**
A: Directions come in or on the package and strings are color coordinated. But, if I remember right, the two narrowest strings G and A (they are identical for this package) are on either end. The fattest one is the C string, third string (from right to left). The E is the 2nd string. Change on string at a time to keep tension on the instrument. Youtube has lots of tutorials to help you.

**Q: do you have low G for tenor?**
A: I have. I found that some pieces don't sound as good with a low g. So, I have pretty much returned my tenors to high g. High g is more universal.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The are an ok set of strings that do the job

I can't comment on the longevity yet but they do feel like they will be ok for that. After a while you get a sense for how long a string will last and these do feel quite nice. It's hard to keep them in tune but I've experienced that with every set of nylon strings I've ever purchased. The only problem I had with them is the string that's labelled to be strung on the 1st or 3rd string seems way to thick to be used as the 3rd. When you put it in place and tighten it to an E it just feels way to tight and the 2nd string (the D string) feels way to lose. So I swapped them in the end which works much better and sounds much better.
