After trying several other types, these are definitely the way to go! Stayed on for the full 15 days showers and restless side sleeping included! Over the 15 days, the edges did creep in a little bit, but it self sealed by having any loose pieces stick to itself and simply became a wrinkle. Was still watertight and well stuck down on the 15th day. Was still a challenge to peel off. If you are unfortunate enough to have to peel it off early, be prepared. Also, the adhesive is abundant and aggressive, it is very challenging to get off, and you will definitely want an adhesive removing wipe. Absolutely 100% waterproof extremely sticky, very high-quality, and wonderful value for money, especially compared to the trashy competition. I am using the clear ones, and would definitely recommend them over the fabric. They are 10 times better.

15-year-old daughter plays lacrosse. These work great to protect her sensors. I do recommend shaving any hair off of the placement around the sensor and cleaning with rubbing alcohol before placement of the patch for maximum length of time hold.

Picked these up right after I got my Dexcom G7 CGM. I first tried the ones that came with the sensor, but quickly found out that they suck. The OEM version didn’t protect the sensor and let it get wet, resulting in it crapping out within 24 hrs. But the Skingrip worked great. Keeping my sensor dry from showering, switching, rain, and just plain life. Only issue is the adhesive is really good. If you’re a bit hairy like I am, it’ll become apparent how good the glue is when you take it off to change the sensor. Little advice, shave around the area where you’re gonna put the new sensor. It’s covered, so no one will see the bald spot. Highly recommended.

I like that they cover the entire sensor and they adhere to my skin very well. They last for the entire 10 day life of the sensor. They are extremely thin however and wrinkle easily. They don't adhere to your skin until you take the top cover off and rub the patch down onto your skin which is when the wrinkles occur. Thicker patch would be very helpful.

I have tried many different over patches over the years. Skin grip is the best so far. It is important to read the directions the first time but after that it’s a piece of cake. I shower and swim with this patch and it doesn’t come off. It is easy to put over the dexcom since I don’t get the cut out ones. I do use the over patch that comes with the dexcom then adhere the skin grip right over it. One time I even forgot to remove the top green part of the dexcom patch before putting on my clear skin grip and it worked perfectly. I will say it is tough to remove but i do have sensitive skin and I have not had bad reaction to the adhesive.

It’s a little difficult to keep the edges from curling up. I never had this problem with the colored skin grips, as they are heavier and easier to put on.

I had issues with the included Dexcom G7 overpatches where they would just lose their adhesion after a couple days. These things keep their adhesion well... a little too well. It definitely hurt pulling it off and took multiple painful rips until coming completely off. BUT! That is a good thing. I am definitely happy with that as opposed to losing a G7 transmitter every other day. This said it has a hole in the middle but does not. However, I like that it completely covers the transmitter since it creates less to snag. Recommended if you have adhession issues with the G7 overpatches.

Zero Percent Waterproof. The whole top layer of the patch wrinkles up and falls off if you take a shower with it on. It leaves the sensor exposed and what remains of the patch (an outer ring around the sensor very sticky on the outside) that does not cover the sensor and will stick to your shirt. These patches have cost me to lose 3-4 sensors over the past 2 weeks. They are NOT WATERPROOF!!! I can’t get over the fact they are advertised as waterproof. It wasn’t even submerged and the patch was ruined every time.
