Easy to apply - WARNING DO NOT GET ANY ON YOUR SKIN!! By accident a small drop landed on my finger and it burnt (no damage, but really felt like I'd touched hot metal!!). Have also used this in model making (plastic card/foamex board etc)...again works well. Could feel the surfaces getting hot as the bonding agent did it's work. Left over night and now it holds firm. Will give an update in a few months to see if everything is still holding together. It is for use on plastic and watch crystals. This is jewellers cement. **Q: Can this be used to bond together rocks?** A: Sorry, I do not think it can be used for this purpose. The cement is suitable for watch crystals, plastic, glass, metal and ceramic. **Q: Would it glue the arm on my glasses?** A: No. Its not strong enough to glue the arm on your glasses. It’s only suitable for sealing the ends of bead stringing cord. An epoxy glue (Araldite) is the strongest type of glue but unless the joint is bound by something that may not be strong enough either. **Q: I plan to use this g-s hypo cement to stick brooches onto a necklace base. the heaviest brooches is 20g. anybody know if this glue is strong enough?** A: I’ve used both this glue and another type, E6000, for gluing jewellery, but nothing this heavy, and each have their plus points. This glue can take 24hr to dry and the glue is very liquid so spreads well but is thin. I liked the fine nozzle too. E6000 is a thicker glue and therefore not quite as easy as this one to apply in very small spaces but easier on larger areas. Your Q was is this glue suitable for 20g brooch. I’d say try it on one, leave it to dry for at least 24hr and see if you can dislodge the brooch easily.
