M.2 NVMe + M.2 SATA SSD PCIe x4 Adapter (UGT-M2PC200), Green

My PC has only 1 M.2 port. Simply installed this adapter with my new 1TB SSD, cloned old 500GB SSD to new one. Turned off, swapped and rebooted, worked fine, reformatted old SSD, now installed on this adapater.

Flexible install allows for both types of M.2 connectors to be used. Vantec products are well made, reliable and have always worked for me.

I like Vantec products, big fan for over 15 yrs. This is the first time I ever return an item from them. My fault, cause I bought the cheapest possible. I had trouble fitting into any of my 2 PCI slots on mobo Asus m5a97 r2.0. I removed the bracket and card was very loose with the weight of the NVME drive. There are other users reporting this same problem. If you can buy different type of card, go for a better one. I would look and I will keep on buying Vantec products, since I am happy with their design and products in general.

I had a 4 year old system. The card was fine but I wanted the drive attached to the card to be a boot drive. The BIOS on my 4 year old ASUS mother board would not support this card. That is not this venders fault. they promptly issued a return RMA. Do your research by calling the manufacturer of your motherboard if your system is older than 2 years. These cards will provide lightning fast boot ups with the correct mother board.

This was the second one like this we ordered. The first was great! Packaged right, and came with a little screw driver, the screws necessary to screw in an M.2, and the edge plates in case my PC was small form factor. The second time, it came loose in a small box, with no screw driver, and more importantly, no screws to screw in the M.2 drive. Looks like a return someone just threw into an available box, and they shipped that to me.

Having an older home built desktop (circa 2012) this unit using an Intel 660p series 1 TB M.2, inserted into the M.2 slot, plugged right in to my lower PCIe slot (2.0x16) and after going into Disk Management, formatting and assigning a Drive letter worked exactly as advertised. CrystalDiskMark6 shows 1800+ Read with 1300+ Write speeds, which is phenomenal as it is the older type slot. I plan to use this as data storage and for the speed and prices it really is a good buy. Highly recommend for this purpose.

Idéal pour ordinateur plus ancien non équipé de connecteur pour nouveau disque dur ngff ou nvme..on peut y placer les deux sorte et formater sur le ngff(en sata) et les deux apparaitrons dans les périphériques..

Läuft in meinem Asrock X58 deluxe mit einer Samsung 950 Pro als Bootlaufwerk. Die 970 pro bootet leider nicht damit.

I purchased this to accommodate NVMe SSD. Working seamlessly. Happy with the purchase.
