Bike Chain Kit, 9 Speed Multi-Function Bike Mechanic Repair Kit, Chain Breaker and Bike Link Plier with Hook and 6 Pairs Bicycle Buckle, Reusable

I used this for my 9 speed mountain bike. Rear is a 9 speed cassette with a 3 speed crank. I was able to use this and I measured rivet to rivet and I had about 5 links left over. The chain breaker or rivit punch it comes with works pretty well. The master link tool worked well to click things back together. The chain came in a package and there is a thin layer of lube on it already too. It comes with at least 4-5 pairs of master links in case you mess up the first time or need to shorten the chain. For the money - good deal, the tools alone are worth a few bucks.

The chain broke with only about 300 miles of mostly city riding. It was maintained, lubricated, and cleaned on a regular basis. I am very disappointed in the quality. I was able to pinch back together to finish the ride, as you can see in the photos.

The chain works well along with the quick links. But the tools work very well. Especially the chain breaker tool, feels like I would have paid $10-15 for just the chain tool. Please note the chain breaker will not work with 12 speed chains

This went on a new to me older triathlon bike, with 2x9 gearing, mostly Shimano 105 components. After painting it, I wanted to replace all the parts that were showing their age. The good: This chain is every bit as smooth as the original, and I really like that it comes with several master links. The not so good: the included chain breaker and master link pliers are definitely not made by Park Tools. I managed to bend the pin on the first use - fortunately, didn't damage the links in any way. And there is a spair pin in the handle. The master link pliers are nothing spectacular, and were a bit difficult to use, but they got the job done. The chain itself gets 4.5/5 stars, and that's why I bought this kit. The tools served their purpose this time, so can't gripe too much for bonus tools.

This product was totally compatible with my Trek Domane 3 road bike. The tools included with it did the job.

First off, the pin on the chain breaker tool bent on 1st use. I'm a retired Engineer who designed tools so I foresaw this weakness in their tool design & did my best to provide additional support for the pin. You may have more luck than me but skill won't help you here. Luckily, my bike's chain has a slip-lock link exactly the same as this kit which I found after the chain breaker tool frustrated me. The kit's slip-lock link removal tool works great. But when I removed my 9-spd bike's chain & sized it next to the one in the kit, you can see in my video that the kit's chain is a full double link too short. We're it too long I have tools & could have shortened it. Instead I'm returning this chain & off looking for one w/58 double links vs the 57 on this one. Now if your bike's chain has 57 double links, this is the chain for you. I tried it on mine but the derailer can't get the chain onto the largest rear sprocket. Very disappointing.

The chain seems to work fine, and all the parts are included so that's something. If you're buying this because it has a chain tool - DON'T. It worked, and that's why this gets 2 stars, but it came bent (I had to bend it back to use it) and just USING the tool bent the frame and pin of the tool out of shape. I was able to use it enough to get the old chain off and the quick links put onto the new chain but I don't think it would hold up to more than 2 or 3 uses.
