Better than your average camera-phone
A pleasure to use once you've figured out the menu system. Which I find a little messy. You can use it in a simple point and shoot mode, but it takes a while to get the full benefits of everything this camera can do. Price is reasonable though I'd have given 5 stars if it had been closer to the £200 mark. PS. No SD card supplied either.

Screen Dimming & Bad Exposures
Not happy. This camera was working okay on the first day. The second day, the screen keeps on going dim and so dim I can hardly see a thing. This always happens about five seconds after I turn the camera on and from what I found out, there's no setting to change this. I looked all over the place on Google and it there's no setting to turn off the Auto Dim. I wonder why it's there for. What is the point in the screen dimming so much, we can hardly see anything from the screen? It's meant to be part of the power saver. Even so, Kodak should give us a chance to use the camera first. Every time I'm lining-up a shot, the screen goes dim again and it's very annoying. Normally power savers turn a device on Stand-by by the duration of our choice, not dim the screen before we get a chance to use it. Then the exposure thing went off. I spent days going through the exposure settings and nothing worked. While taking photos outside, things were a disaster most of the time. With buildings, there were many times when the exposure of the buildings were correct and the sky was pure white with a massive glare. Then when I got the sky right, the buildings looked too dark. Other exposure settings are a joke where everything is too bright where the entire photo was pure white with traces of the subject in the photo. I sent two photos to show what I mean where a building is right and the sky has a white glare and when I got the sky right, the building is too dark. I lost count how many times I went through the exposure settings and I got nowhere. Also, with the Brightness setting with 1-, 2-, Normal, 1+ and 2+, other camera have that going up to 3 with plus and minus. I'm sticking to my old camera and sorting out a better lens for that one where that camera works so much better for photos and it has a Touchscreen and those Brightness settings that I mentioned are in a wheel on my other camera. I wonder why Kodak never added that wheel and had the settings that take longer to change through the settings in the computer system. I can't believe Kodak never even added a Touchscreen. My other camera that works better was the same price as this Kodak junk. The only reason why I bought this Kodak camera was because the 52X lens got me interested. The rest of the camera is garbage apart from indoor photography. That's another thing. I wonder why this camera only works best for indoor photography and that is either when there's enough light through the window or when the light is on. Kodak is a disappointment. I almost typed Kojak. I'm shocked that Kodak that is a good make can be so stupid and ruin the camera like this.

Great value
I purchased this while it was on offer so was excellent value, so far it is proving to be good quality, not had time to try out all the features but look forward to playing around with them in the future.

Perfect for begiinners
Very basic but fun camera, lightweight and despite my camera being refurbished was in great condition, the screen is big enough and vibrant, the camera takes good pictures but like many long zoom cameras has focus issues but just go slow with the zoom and its much better, I have not tried the video yet, my biggest issue is it has no viewfinder which really is an issue, for me I need a viewfinder and so this is resigned to the back up cupboard, this camera would be perfect for beginners or just as a back up

Prima camera 52x zoom en zeer scherpe prijs
Zoom is echt 50x . Ook goed bij zwakke belichting met en zonder flits . Batterij sterk genoeg voor 6000 opnames (32Gb) , 64Gb werkt niet . Film kwaliteit bijzonder goed
