Great documentation !
I am in love with this camera. We are building a new house and i wanted to be able to record the process. I set the camera to take one picture every hour. A four month time span gave me a 30 second "video". There is a waterproof shell. The mounting hardware is like a universal joint and really well designed. The pictures are quite clear. It operates with an SD card. The price is reasonable. It runs on batteries (but hard to know how long they will last in bad weather). A couple of flaws, but not dealbreakers: the instructions are not great. For example, when I first set it up, I turned it on and mounted it on a construction pole. Two weeks later, it turns out that I had zero photos. You have to turn it on AND press "record". I wish I could see the images in real time, mostly to know if the camera is mounted in a good location. Not possible on this model. Also would like to be able to download the images without having to take the camera apart and remove the SD card, take it home, use the SD card reader to transfer the images into my computer, etc. And lastly -- when the house is done being built, I would like to be able to stitch all the images into one continuous "show", but not sure how to do that (again, poor instructions). Luckily, the tech support is helpful and responsive.

Nice camera for time-lapse videos
If you’re looking for a camera that’s easy to use and can capture time-lapse videos, then this camera is a great choice. It comes with everything you need to get started quickly, including the camera itself, a 16GB memory card, and 4 AA batteries. The setup process was easy. I did have to buy a memory card reader (https://a.co/d/c4an2ds) so I can copy the AVI files from the SD card to my M2 MacBook Pro. One of the standout features of this camera is its tiny screen, which is a big plus compared to the cheaper model TLC130 (https://a.co/d/0ZwPfMX). The screen makes it much easier to identify what’s getting captured, so you can be sure you’re getting the shots you want. Using the default settings, I let it record the sky for an hour and it generated a 24-second video. The video quality is quite good in my opinion.

Won’t regret
One of the standout features for me was how quick it was to get started. It took me just a few minutes from unboxing to capturing my first time-lapse video. It's a relief not to constantly monitor battery levels during shoots. I have been using the timelapse camera for two months, the battery life is held up remarkably well. Compared to other options on the market, this time lapse camera might come with a slightly higher price. Having experienced cheaper alternatives in the past, I would say its functions and image quality are fully capable of supporting my project recording. After all, shooting without any problems is my primary concern. For anyone in search of a reliable, user-friendly time-lapse camera with long battery life, this is the one to go for.

Do not buy !
For all happy users of TLC 200 HDR : this TLC 300 is not as good ! HDR is supposedly present but effects are not really showing. Controls are all different and lacking many necessary positions present in TLC200. No contrast, no WB . All images are burned even at EV 00 . Night shots are horrible - no comparison to TLC200 . So to sum up - not good , don't buy . Stay with proven item - TLC200 HDR Pro ! Photos - first 300 , second 200 .

Amazing camera
Easy Set-Up Process I have been really happy with this Brinno time lapse camera thus far. The set-up process was very straightforward and programming the schedule/intervals was easy as well. Will definitely be looking to buy again for future projects.

Was hoping for awesome, found below average.
10+ years ago, Brinno offered the TLC200 Pro, undeniably the best long term time lapse camera, which remains a great solution. As time moved on, all Brinno needed to do was update the 200 Pro with a 1080 sensor and a file format change. They choose a different direction with a few rechargeable cameras, then a giant housing requiring 16 AA batteries. During this time of Brinno product uncertainty, I switched to the Afidus camera, which has many desirable features. Fast forward to the TLC300, which appeared to be the long awaited 200 Pro update. I figured here it is finally, sign me up, let's go. Any enthusiasm I had disappeared quickly, when I discovered Brinno is still using the nearly dead AVI file format. This is not mentioned in the specifications or technical details and is a significant omission. The AVI format is no longer natively supported by Apple, Microsoft, Adobe, iOS, Android and others. The cross-platform, free VLC Media Player will allow you to play the AVI files. However, you may need to convert the files to MP4 or MOV, or obtain a codec to work with the AVI format. Another comparison for Brinno users, the TLC300 exhibits a considerable amount of undesirable noise in low light situations. The 300 shares some of the same exposure selections with the 200 Pro (Day, Twilight and Night). The TLC 200 Pro would compensate for lighting changes very well, regardless of the camera setting. The 300 requires the correct selection and even with Night selected the noise levels when dark are quite noticeable. The overall video quality, from the 300, appears mushy and lacks detail. Experienced Brinno users will notice this more than someone using the camera for the first time. 200 Pro footage at 720 is very good and can easily be scaled to 1080. 300 footage almost appears scaled in the camera. As with Brinno's other interchangeable lens cameras the 300's IR filter is affixed to the rear lens element. The specs note interchangeable CS mount lenses and there are a number to choose from, however only Brinno lenses include a removable IR filter. If you want to use a non-Brinno lens you will need to DIY an IR filter, there are few video how-tos detailing the process. Keep in mind, weather sealing is also a consideration for alternative lens use. Battery life is good, stated 100 days with a 5 minute interval. Don't let run time provide false level of security. Anything can go wrong with an unattended camera, consider two cameras for redundancy and check them regularly. The 300's navigation menu, screen and day of week scheduling are nice improvements, but features shouldn't outweigh performance. Do your research, you have options and I'll be first in line for a Brinno 400 someday.

Excellent time lapse Camera for the price.
Easy set up and recorded for 12 days with no issues in all weather conditions with the weatherproof shell. highly recommended if you want to capture a large or small project from start to finish. Picture quality was excellent during the day and during the night with some lighting in the area.

I am super happy with this time-lapse camera. As soon as it arrived, I used it for a test shot. I found the menu very easy to navigate and the use of the camera itself, quite intuitive: it was no problem to program all the settings. You have all you need in the box to mount the camera in different places, so that's a plus. I was even able to mount the camera on a boat and recorded the video attached. I have now tested it in different weather and environments and found the image quality to be really good in all conditions. The running time is also very long, which is very helpful for recordings over several days/weeks. In short: easy to use and does the job. 5 stars from me.

Producto bueno para su precio, permite obtener timelapse correctos. La imagen es buena. Para hacer timelapse básicos, pero por este precio está excelente. La batería dura mucho teniendo en cuenta que no cuenta con alimentación externa.
