Review: BEST BILTONG IVE TASTED IN THE UK YET! - Reminds me so much of home with the flavour, texture and consistency within the meat the Droëwors is also absolutely amazing, price is a little bit high but for me this is a delicacy and i dont mind the high price every now and then, you probably wont get any better then this unless you actually visit South africa !

Reminds me so much of home with the flavour, texture and consistency within the meat the Droëwors is also absolutely amazing, price is a little bit high but for me this is a delicacy and i dont mind the high price every now and then, you probably wont get any better then this unless you actually visit South africa !

Both the Droewors and the Biltong were fairly good, not the best but better than quite a few. The Droewors were nice but coated your mouth with fat/lard, I've not had any which do that before. Presumably that's just their recipe but would put me off buying these again. The Biltong was very thinly sliced and quite dry. That's more down to personal preference though as I prefer them about twice as thick and a with bit more moisture & fat.
