Let me help! - If this is your first kit, I RECOMMEND YOUTUBE VIDEOS to watch how to do this. The kit is fine but it assumes you know at least a little something (which I didn't!). I've only ever sewn a little bit, this was my first time with embroidery and the term "floss". Learn from my mistakes! Firstly: THE THREAD (floss) MUST BE SEPARATED INTO THINNER PIECES TO GET THE FULL EFFECT. What do I mean by separated? I will explain, and I hope my attached photo can help guide you through it (otherwise you can look up youtube videos demonstrating this). To begin separating the thread/floss, you first cut the length you want, then you separate it into individual strands (in this kit, each thread appears to separate into at least "6" threads). This makes more sense when you take out the instructions and see something like "Stem Stich (3 strands)". This means for that specific technique, they recommend you use 3 strands from the thread. (Confused about how to make an uneven number of strands? Keep reading!) Secondly: There are some designs which require an uneven 3 strands of floss (like I said before, one thread can usually be separated into at least 6 separate string strands of floss). I didn't understand how to make the floss strands into 3 strands, because I only knew when you thread the needle and tie it, it doubles the strand (for example, 1 strand on the needle becomes 2; 2 strands becomes 4; 3 strands becomes 6). So for the designs that say 3, there are other ways to do this but for me personally, I went ahead and just tied and threaded 1 strands to become 2 (instead of the recommended uneven three). It still comes out looking great & I have more thread on hand. And then the 6 strand designs are easy because it is simply 3 strands, tied and threaded (which make six). There’s many ways to do embroidery; remember the most important way is the way you have fun in! I hope this makes sense, if it doesn't I recommend youtube because that's where I learned the nuances and different possibilities of this hobby. TLDR: If you're lost don't give up hope! Your questions can be answered with some internet searches, and techniques can be demonstrated in videos. Best of luck! Review: Easy to follow guide - Love it!

A nice intro to embroidery
I'm learning how to embroider and this is my first attempt. The pattern is cute, directions are easy, and it's fun!

Good for beginners!
I really enjoyed this kit! It comes with absolutely everything you need, and the design washes out wicked easily. The directions were nonsense, but Youtube has plenty of tutorials for all types of embroidery. I switched up the long-short stitch that most of the flower petals had and did them all in just one color. I switched up the colors and the phrase in the middle, as well. All in all, great kit!

Great products
Everything came in great condition except 1 pack of the transparent kits. The blue flower came in damaged so I can't use it but Everything else is perfect

Best manufacturing brand
I have ordered cross stitch kits from several distributors on Amazon. This company has the best quality thread and the designs provide the perfect amount of guidance to achieve a nice outcome. I would totally recommend this brand.

Maybe it's me
Not as easy as I had hoped, did there for a craft date. The don't look great, but that is probably user error.

Quick embroidery project
Great embroidery kit for beginners. The floss is not the greatest quality. I also dislike the colours chosen but there’s enough floss to pick your own which I like. The colours are already numbered and on a hole punched card. Even the kit says to watch YouTube videos of their picture instructions don’t work out. (Don’t judge my French knots, haven’t embroidered in years) Wish some of the sayings were funnier, more inappropriate. Would buy again though for a quick project.
