Fitted in 10 minutes as all the holes I needed were already there from the previous door knocker, super lucky that everything lined up. You'll need two through the door holes - one for the door knocker itself, one for the knocking plate (I dunno what it's properly called but that's what I'm calling it), and a smaller hole about a cm deep to fit the spike on the back of the door knocker to stop it spinning. This looks absolutely bang on with the mid grey painted front door, it looks really olde worldy/rustic. It's a nice weight and is darn loud when someone raps it.

Really lovely product. Looks nice on our back gate. A nice change from metal handles and nice and heavy. Very easy to install. Only thing is it has already rusted, we don’t really mind as it is outdoors so was expected. Still looks great.

This is not a lightweight item! its very very solid, lovely finish so its great, look lovely on the door, installation is easy too, just remember the nuts are sticking out on the other side so you need to drill through your door. Seller is very responsible and reliable. Would highly recommend.

This item is great for the price - nice and solid. The only problem is that the paint chipped fairly easily (dropped onto stone step whilst installing), but nothing that couldn't be solved with a quick touch up.

Die schwarze Farbe ist tief und verleiht dem Klopfer eine elegante Note. Die Verarbeitung ist größtenteils solide; das Eisen fühlt sich robust an und der Ring hat eine angenehme Haptik. Allerdings sind mir bei genauerer Betrachtung einige kleine Unebenheiten in der Oberfläche aufgefallen. Diese beeinträchtigen zwar nicht die Funktionalität und ich finde sie passend und schön, könnten aber für Käufer, die Wert auf makellose Oberflächen legen, ein Manko darstellen.Die Montage war relativ unkompliziert. Mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben konnte ich den Klopfer schnell anbringen. Eine detaillierte Anleitung wäre jedoch hilfreich gewesen, da ich mir nicht ganz sicher war, in welchem Abstand der Klopfer zur Tür angebracht werden sollte. Ein Hinweis auf die optimale Höhe hätte ebenfalls zur Benutzerfreundlichkeit beigetragen.Der Klopfer erfüllt seinen Zweck hervorragend und erzeugt einen klaren Klang beim Klopfen. Er ist laut genug, um gehört zu werden, was wichtig ist. Allerdings könnte der Mechanismus etwas leiser sein; beim Klopfen ertönt ein recht lautes Geräusch, das möglicherweise Nachbarn stören könnte. Hier wäre eine gedämpfte Variante wünschenswert.Bisher zeigt der Türklopfer keine Anzeichen von Rost oder Abnutzung – ein positives Zeichen für ein Produkt aus Eisen. Ich hoffe, dass dies auch langfristig so bleibt. Es wäre jedoch ratsam, ihn regelmäßig zu überprüfen und gegebenenfalls mit einem Schutzmittel zu behandeln.Man erhält einen soliden Türklopfer mit einem ansprechenden Design. Die Qualität ist gut und ich denke, dass er seinen Preis wert ist.
