These are simply the best you can buy. I am set for life since i also purchased 20 ferrocerium rods too … i like the softer 1/2” x 6” rods. These strikers are High Speed tooled steel alloy … hardened to 64 HRC … which is very very hard. The edges should last for many many years. These will rust … so dry them off when they get wet … **Q: how much does one striker weigh?** A: I never weighed one but it can't be more than a few grams **Q: How long is the actual striker in length?
