I have used this lock for my oversized rollator and works like a gem!

So far it's 5 stars. The lock itself is solid. I tried to break it and failed. I tried to hack through the cable and failed there too. I'm comfortable having my bike attached to this. I personally prefer a longer one, but the size is accurate to what I picked so that's on me. It's heavy duty, but not exceedingly heavy. It doesn't add any noticeable weight to my ride. The unlock process is smooth every time, with no jams, and that's REALLY important when you don't have time to mess with a finicky lock. I think this is great for what it is and what it costs.

I do have to spray a lubricant inside the lock hole from time to time. If I don’t it freezes up and hard to turn the key. Overall though, it’s a good lock.

quick and easy to use

I bought this to replace the same style lock I had lost the second key to. I can't speak to how tough the inner cable is but I still have my bike after using this lock fo a year (I mostly do not leave my bike vulnerable for long). I really like the dust cover for the lock tumbler, as well as that you can insert the key facing either way, and that the key hole is perpendicular to the cable. The locking mechanism is smooth and trouble-free. I also really like the mounting bracket, and use it even though my particular bike is lacking in good places for it. I would suggest to the product team that the key should be all metal instead of having a plastic head (my former lock became useless after both keys deteriorated and then I finally lost the metal stub). Other than the flimsy key, no complaints. Great value for money in my opinion. There are surely tougher locks out there, but an angle grinder will cut through any of them in under a minute, so I prefer a simple deterrent that is lightweight and as hassle-free as possible.
