This item was very easy to put together and looks really great! I especially like the soft lighting this provides. Perfect for my needs.

Nice lamps, once assembled. Bought two (2), first one took an hour to figure out assembly due to crappy instructions - and had one of the shelves missing 2 connector holes that I had to personally drill. Second lamp only took 15 easy minutes once I knew how to assemble. Worth the assembly issues, very nice lamps, great look, and solid foundation. Recommend... Tom

Very elegant lamp. Easy to assemble. The pictures in the instructions are on the smaller side. Hard to determine which hardware was used in each step. The top lamp shelf is used to hold a Sony bookcase speaker, which weighs 15 pounds. The larger shelf area on this lamp was able to accommodate the weight height and width quite easily, which space left over to hold other items on the same shelf.The pull chain for the lamp drops down into the center, which is occupied by the speaker. Wish there were an option to route the chain differently. But overall, the chain works fine.

It seemed like a good floor lamp, until I find out the little plastic parts make it extremely difficult to place cover on the top. It just does not stay. All they needed to do was to use a screw to stay in its place. Instead they used a plastic that is too loose to stay in the place, making it very difficult to place cover around it. This lamp is for handyman who knows how to maneuver this design error.

I purchased this from our local Lamps Plus store, who also sells it through Amazon. It's a really nice-looking lamp, pretty well-made, and easy to assemble. However, it is NOT 73" tall as specified - it's 65" tall, so a full 8" shorter than stated. It's unfortunate, because the main reason I bought this lamp over a different one was because of the height. The store said they probably received a mis-spec from the manufacturer, and will allow us to return it assembled if we wish.

This lamp is well designed and well made. Quality material and very stylish. To make it amazing use a "smart bulb". You now have remote control and dimming ability, in addition to changing colors to your choice! Versatility to match any mood!

The materials are cheap, but it looks great in my den. The design caught my eye. It would be nice if it were made of a heavier wood, but I suppose that would drive up the cost too much. It's not bright enough to light up a room for, say, reading, but it's more of an "atmosphere" type of a lamp. I keep books and pictures on mine Note: Due to it's light weight, if placing on carpet, you may want to put something under it for stability. I had some left over wood laminate, and I cut a piece about an inch larger around than the base of the lamp, and set it on that.
