Great piece of tech - just a pity the touch screen can be very slow to respond and glitchy. But if you are patient - input is easy enough and it does what it says - gets you to where you need to be. It does help if you have the postal code before hand as it doesn't really recognise places or shopping centres very well.

Quite please with my Sat Nav although have only used it once. It fitted perfectly to the windscreen and it was easy to use although you do have to press quite hard to put the info in so you can't do it quickly. It is fine for what I want it for as I probably don't need to use it too often so it is perfectly adequate. Arrived when expected and was well packaged.

I have been looking for a sat nav and the reviews haven’t been so good. I bought a different make and it was useless so I had to return it. I read the mixed reviews on here and thought I’d give Tom Tom a go. I am so glad I did. This little device is brilliant. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Highly recommend.

Bought this to help my girlfriend get used to the navigation device they use for the driving test, and was horrified at how bad it is. I expected far better for the price and TomTom should be ashamed of themselves for having this product in their lineup. Here is a brief summary of the problems: 1. It is incredibly slow to respond. It's like it's using a processor from the apollo moon missions to do the navigation. You tap the screen to do anything and depending on what you want to do you could be waiting up to a good few seconds for a response. 2. Trying to program in a destination has been modelled on setting the timer to record something on a 1980's VCR. The number of screen taps required is insane. 3. You can only update the maps using a convoluted process of plugging it into a PC despite the device then managing to synchronise your favourite destinations live over the air. I know why they have done it this way; it's so they can maximise their profit on the live subscription service 4. You have to subscribe to a service to get updates. It's almost 2020 guys. Sort it out. 5. It's very slow to react to changes in direction and it's not great at knowing where you are in built up areas. In an age where anyone can just use google maps on their smartphone you would think TomTom would have upped their game with a dedicated device, offering at least some benefit over using a smart phone, but you are genuinely better off just buying a £80 android phone from amazon and downloading whichever free offline map app you can find, or paying for Sygic navigation for £50 which will then give you unlimited worldwide map and camera updates and be transferrable to the next android phone you buy!

It's a good satnav normally cost more then it's selling here good and accurate when it comes to route guidance

I bought this as I have a car with built in navigation which relies on Internet access through my phone. However I have had issues with this as I have lost Internet connection several times , always at critical points. So I decided to get myself this . The infuriating thing is that I won't be able to update it as although it connects to my PC the app does not work. Whilst I was reading their Web site a man from Tom tom support started chatting and said that it would cost me in excess of £100 to update the sat nav maps! I feel ripped off, and angry that the promised services are not available. I suppose I shall have to use it without updating it. They should make this clear on the description as the info is very misleading and for someone to tell me how much the service will cost and then disappear when i questioned it is rude Disappointed.

Accurate and easy to use as expected. Bought as a gift and the recipient was pleased with the sat nav.

Volevo un GPS per la circolazione urbana e il Tom Tom 62 risponde pienamente alle mie esigenze e aspettative: il display da 6 pollici è ideale compromesso fra ingombro e visibilità, il software è facile da usare e consultare, sempre preciso nelle indicazioni sia visive che vocali, la messa in opera non crea problemi, insomma tutto l'essenziale è pienamente soddisfacente - sempre nella misura delle mie poco esigenti richieste. Uniche due pecche: all'avvio è piuttosto lento nel caricare il programma e la batteria ha una autonomia di un'ora (io non l'ho testata ma così dichiarano le recensioni), io lo uso sempre con il cavetto di alimentazione in dotazione pertanto la cosa non mi pesa affatto.

Das Navi ist relativ klein und leicht, nimmt also nicht so viel Platz ein, aber das Bild ist auch nicht so groß. Es braucht nach dem Einschalten ziemlich lang, bis es einsatzbereit ist. Für diese Preisklasse ist das aber ok, finde ich. Auf der Route selbst gibt es keine groben Verzögerungen, und wenn man falsch abbiegt, wird schnell eine neue Route errechnet. Was mich gestört hat ist, dass man während der Routenführung, also "im Betrieb", die Karte nicht richtig verkleinern kann, um sich die gesamte Streckenführung oder eine Stelle, die erst in 100 km kommt, anzusehen. Im Lieferumfang enthalten war bei mir neben Halterung und USB-Kabel ein Adapter "USB - Zigarettenanzünder" - zum Glück, denn sobald ich das Navi mit einem beliebigen USB-Kabel an meinem Golf 7 anschließe, stürzt dort das Multimedia-System ab... Wer für gelegentliche Trips innerhalb Westeuropas ein günstiges, kompaktes Navi sucht, ist hiermit gut bedient. Für Vielfahrer gibt es sicher leistungsfähigere Alternativen.

Einwandfrei, Erwartungen erfüllt.

Para probar si va bien este gps he hecho un viaje de 6000km por toda Italia y parte de Francia. Tras esta más que suficiente prueba y teniendo como base los anteriores TomTom que he tenido, expongo como conclusión las siguientes observaciones: 1- La ventosa la han mejorado bastante puesto que la del modelo anterior se quitaba a las primeras de cambio mientras que esta es más fija teniendo 2 posiciones una para la luna y otra para el salpicadero si es bastante liso, ya que el mío es rugoso y no pega bien por lo que lo uso en la luna. 2- Cuenta con mapas de toda Europa y se pueden actualizar 4 veces al año durante 10 años. Esto está muy bien porque las carreteras van cambiando. Lo que más me gusta es que tú pones la ciudad del país que sea y te lleva hasta allí calculando el ya las rutas sin tener que cambiar de mapa ni nada, cosa que antiguamente era un rollo porque cuando llegabas a una frontera tenías que pararte a cambiar al mapa del siguiente país ya que venían los mapas por zonas y ahora viene de toda Europa. 3- Los cambios de carril ahora te los indica aún mejor ya que han añadido a la pantalla que había antes que te indicaba que carril debías tomar, varias pantallas indicativas más a distintas alturas para que te sitúes totalmente, esto es muy útil cuando hay varios carriles y en las salidas vuelve a haber varios carriles para varias salidas. 4- Si te confundes hace un recálculo de ruta mucho más rápido que en los anteriores que he tenido, que han sido más o menos de la misma categoría, nose si los modelos de más alta gama han ido así de bien de siempre. 5- Los radares los 3 primeros meses te los actualizan gratis a partir de ahí es de pago pero Nose si me los seguirá indicando donde están o al no actualizarse no los indica. Yo antes los actualizaba cada vez q quería y me indicaba siempre donde estaban en el momento de la última actualización que tuviera. 6- El menú de antes me gustaba un poco más que ahora será hasta que me acostumbre. 7- Sin embargo la visualización del mapa me gusta más ahora ya que te indica mejor los pdi que van a venir, las distancia a la que están... puedes añadir lugares de tu interés... 8- Los satélites los encuentra rapidísimo y ya no los pierde a menos que sea un túnel extremadamente largo y los vuelve a recuperar casi antes de salir del túnel. 9- Lo único que le puedo ver negativo por sacarle algo es que tarda mucho en arrancar y en calcular la ruta la primera vez, será porque tiene muchas carreteras, pero después si te confundes recalcula rapidísimo y lo de si quieres autopista de peaje o no antes te lo indicaba mejor ahora tienes que estar atento si no quieres peaje o lo tienes que quitar después desde el menú que te da la opción. 10- La batería normal ni mucho ni poco, yo de todas maneras lo llevo enchufado al mechero casi siempre. Conclusión de esta pequeña valoración que espero le sirva a toda aquella persona que esté mirando este gps. Yo lo recomiendo a cualquier persona que le guste viajar para llevarlo como compañero, ya que te sacará de más de un apuro y su relación calidad precio creo que es magnífica.
