Couldn’t recommend it enough. I’m 28 and have never used a tampon, or cup in my life - pads only, so this was a completely new, and somewhat daunting experience. I was scared it would get stuck inside, which is the reason I never bought a cup, but this one seemed less likely to create a hard to break suction and get stuck, so I went for it. I definitely struggled the first couple tries to get it in properly, but on my 3rd attempt I did it perfectly and now have no issues. I have no leakage, I can’t feel it, and if I didn’t experience pain (I have Endo) then I wouldn’t even know I was on my period. Absolute game changer, sucks I’ve spent 14 years menstruating without this lol. Only downside is price, however I would pay that all day long for the benefits, and it is a bit messy changing it, but you only have to do it once every 12 hours, so it’s no big deal having a bit of a mess twice a day. And it’s super easy to take out which was my biggest concern, will never use another period product again

i'm gonna feed back on a few bits that are super relevant.- it doesn't self empty quite as well as the disposables do.- it's comfortable and you can't feel it in place- you'll never go back to tampons again, this is so much more practical- it is messy to empty, you need a bathroom with a sink to wash your hands after to plan removal for bedtime- I've never leaked with flex, either disposable, if you import them from the states, or this reusable silicone one.- it feels cleaner than regular sanitary items to use, 'nipping' to the loo is so much easier- if you're a sports person, this is your go to, especially sports where you're unable to get to a loo for hours - golf, tennis, football etc- you can do the deed with it in place, it doesn't shift or move, but it is distracting for your partner cos they can feel it. if you're after the cleaner experience this will tick the box, but you're only gonna want to remove it to clean it after anyway (in my opinion) so if you're not bothered to begin with, just remove it first.- to get your head around the way these work, it sits vertically not horizontally. you put it in like a tampon without an applicator, it slots into place intuitively about as high up as your index finger. you hook it back out with your finger, you might have to bear down a little. it sounds way more complicated than it actually is.- all day comfort, no stress, no leaks, to toxic shock and you can sleep in it no problem.- it just cleans with handwashing.- worth noting for anyone who already uses the disposable flex that this needs a little more concentration to remove, not in a bad way, just in a different way because its all silicone.- it air dries quickly and comes with a little canvas bag to store it in.- worth one final note - if you like to sleep without clothes, this is the purchase for you.

I'm honestly baffled that I reached the age of 32 without ever hearing about menstrual discs. After years of wearing tampons this unexpectedly feels so much cleaner - yes it's a little messy to remove, especially on my heaviest flow day, but that's a small price to pay to eliminate the need to change my tampon every couple of hours.I have never experienced BAD cramping, but once I hit 30 I did start having some discomfort in the first couple of days. Using the disc instead of tampons seems to have really helped, granted I've only used these for one cycle but I haven't had any cramping which is unusual for me these days.I was worried that I would feel it, in the same way you can feel a tampon when you've not quite inserted it enough or when the string is sitting weirdly, but I genuinely feel nothing. I was also worried about leaks, have been wearing pantyliners *just in case* but so far it's been completely mess free.The one thing I haven't tested is period sex, I'm not convinced it will work that well (I mean, I can feel the rim with my finger so I imagine the guy would feel it during sex..?) but even if it doesn't, I'm still very happy!

If you’re on the fence on this because of the price, I’d recommend giving it a try. I wasn’t sure on this because I’d tried the disposable version and experienced some leaking. My experience with this has been much better. The auto dump feature has been a game changer for my heavy periods and there’s less mess (as I only need to fully empty it once every 12 hours). I also like that this has no suction compared to the moon cup. Highly recommend!

The insertion is way more easier than menstrual cup. I am not able to feel it at all. Happy purchaser :)

I decided to switch to discs because I’ve never liked pads really and my IUD made my period very heavy so that I was using 4 tampons and 3 pads day time alone. From my experience so far;Pros:Comfortable to use, you really won’t feel it. And nothing beats having that place being well ventilated when you are menstruating. lol- Easy way to empty the cup while it’s still inserted.- Low infection compared to tamponsCons:- It is messsyyyy. Heavy period means my cup gets full every 4 hours, while I like the ease of emptying the cup, the fact that I always have to reset it after emptying means I always have to put my hands in my vaginal quite a number of times daily.- Also, if you experience diarrhoea and flatulence during your period it can be tiring because anytime you do one of both your disc moves (this happens sometimes even while urinating) and will need to be adjust again, which is going into the vagina to adjust.Conclusively I’ll still pick this over pad and tampons.

Great alternative to cups

Expensive for no reason. Very difficult to handle if you never used to it before. It takes longer time to take if off. Leaking is a big issue dispite it's big size.

Highly recommend! I have tried the Diva cup and Diva disc- the disc semi-worked but had a lot of leakage. I feel like I don't have a period even at its heaviest. There's next to no leaking and you can self empty while peeing. It took a little learning to get the hang of inserting it but it helped that I'd had a disc before and didn't take long to get used to it. I was using many liners and pads with the other disc and this one, I use very little liners.

I can’t believe I waited so long to try the Flex Disc! I’ve been using it for four cycles now, and I honestly haven’t gone back to pads or tampons. It’s been such a game changer for me.Once you get the hang of inserting it, it’s comfortable, reliable, and easy to forget you’re even on your period. I love how much more convenient it is compared to traditional period products.The only downside is that removing it can get pretty messy. I definitely recommend taking it out in the shower if you can—it makes cleanup so much easier.Overall, I absolutely love this product and don’t see myself ever going back. If you’ve been thinking about trying menstrual discs, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a chance!

This thing is amazing. I was using the disposable flex disc and this one leaks way less and is at more comfortable to put in. Both products helped with my bad cramps but obviously it’s nice not to have dispose of anything. It’s a bit harder to get out but you just have to get used to it. Overall I’m so happy to have found this!!

READ FOR A SOLID, HONEST AND DETAILED REVIEW!I was skeptical of a reusable *anything* for a long time, and a part of it was spending a bit more money on a product that I might not like. I used the single use discs for 3 years before I switched to a reusable and am so mad at myself for not getting one sooner!This thing literally makes periods a breeze. Aside from having mood swings and cramps, I actually don’t dread my period like I used to.The reusable disc is extremely comfortable, and you truly don’t even notice it’s there most of the time. And this thing is so sturdy compared to the single use ones!! Those I would start stressing at 8 hours to go change it because my flow is too heavy and you can’t empty it like the reusable. They would leak on me if I sneezed too hard too, and I would have to go change it. I would never get a full 12 hours of wear out of them. So I had to used almost twice as many as recommended.The “empties itself” function is honestly phenomenal, especially if you have to go pee like I do all the time on my period so I never really worry about leaking. I even wear my non-period underwear sometimes on my period because I am so unconcerned by leakage. Only when I haven’t had the chance to go and empty it ****nothing to do with periods is pretty, so it’s gonna get descriptive***** and when I need to poop or fart do I worry, because to empty it when you’re on the toilet, you have to bear down like you’re trying to poop. (Think about also pushing a fart out, you have to bear down a little. Oh let’s not forget how sneezing will make you bear down too). Even still, my leaks have only happened maybe 2 times out of the almost year I have been using the reusable disc.*Cleaning*So I have tried many methods on the best way to make sure it’s all good and hygienic down there is to shower every night or morning on your period (minimum once a day) and while you’re in the shower, take it all the way out and wash it with soap. I use bar soap and it does a great job without leaving any fragrance behind on the disc, which I worry would cause irritation but that’s just me. You could use whatever soap you want. However, I will say that it is stained. It has a permanent spot where the blood will pool up inside during the day/night before washing it out and there’s nothing you can do about it. Might just be my body, yours could be different.Now if you’re curious about the disc and *sex*I don’t have sex often on my period, but I still do. I always shower beforehand and repeat the process of taking it out and washing it prior to, and I haven’t had any issues! The first time I had sex with it in, I emptied it but didn’t wash it out completely and it got a bit bloody (what can you expect, you’re on your period).I truly hope this review can help whoever reads it! I’ve even gotten my friends to switch over but it’s so much cheaper in the long run and is so much more environmentally conscious! I cannot recommend enough. And I’ll never go back to anything else.

Super happy that Amazon.ca carries the Flex Reusable Disc since we can't find the reusable disc in stores here in Toronto (stores only carry the disposables). Well as you can see, I have both the reusable and the disposable discs: I bought the disposable one first to see if liked it enough to get the reusable one. I love both and found the reusable disc slightly more comfortable than the disposable disc!Flex is the first brand of menstrual discs I ever used and previously I had been using the Diva Cup for years. I have no idea why it took me THIS LONG to discover menstrual discs. I can honestly say, I will only use the Diva Cup if I'm swimming in the ocean (and I don't touch tampons by the way). Why won't I use the menstrual disc when swimming in the ocean? Okay ladies, well, if you're having fun snorkelling in the ocean for a couple of hours, you're probably gonna want to pee in the ocean (just not with any humans near you out of courtesy). And well, when you pee, the disc will self-empty and release blood and you don't want blood in the ocean (um, it could attrack a shark). So for anyone who swims in the ocean regularly or is heading on a tropical vacation during that time of the month, just keep this in mind as a small safety tip 😉In terms of using the menstrual disc during intimacy, this thing is AMAZING! 😅 Your partner probably won't notice or feel the disc.I honestly love the Flex menstrual disc and highly recommend it. And I did quite a bit of research prior to my purchase and found that Flex is the only reusable disc that does not have dye/colour on the disc which was important to me. Now, I was shocked when I saw the size of the disc for the first time: my partner was shocked too and we both wondered how it was going to fit in there 🤣 well, it fits. And it fits quite easily!! And the good news is that I don't feel it at all (unlike the diva cup which you can kind of feel). And compared to the diva cup, for any ladies who have experience with the diva cup, this menstrual disc is a breeze to remove: I often struggled to pull out the diva cup in comparison and I find the diva cup a lot messier since it does not self empty like this Flex disc.Hope this review helps! ☺️
