This is an excellent product, rugged protection for my new Walkman. Coupled with a good screen protector it offers great protection. I drop my phone routinely so as expected I also now drop my Walkman. It is well protected with this nice rubberized case. A nice extra touch, it comes with a nice lanyard too.

it just feels right

I have a 40th anniversary drop resistant case. But I wanted to get a different one to preserve the artwork commemorating the anniversary. This seems to fit better. The only thing I do not like about it is that you can't really feel the power button click when you press it. I thought that it was because I put a (very thin) wireless charging adapter on the back of my NW-A105, but it feels the same even when I put the case on the Walkman without the adapter on the back of it. All in all, I am very happy with this case, and I abdolutely recommend it!

This is a great case. All the buttons line up and provides good protection. Also has protection for 3.5 mm plug so that it is less likely to get damaged in a fall. Mine did not come with the 2 free gifts, but to me this is not a deal breaker.

I bought this going off another review saying it fits the a306 just fine. It doesn’t. Pretty close. But there are a couple issues that make it virtually useless in my opinion. I also purchased the correct identical a306 model on eBay and it has the exact same issue and is for all intents and purposes the same case except it has nw-a306 stamped inside. The picture above is the “correct” a306 version of the case on my new nw-a306. And as you can see, still doesn’t work correctly. Basically there is a lip around the inside that extends too far into the screen area and it pushes inward on the glass corners lifting them up from the screen and making it impossible to use with a screen protector. It also lifts the glass all along the edges when you press any of the side buttons. It’s a bummer because this is a great case otherwise. Really great material and design. Wish they would fix it. If that inside lip were just a little smaller all the way around it would be perfect. Anyone using a case will probably be wanting to use a screen protector. So I won’t recommend this at all. It actually ruined my screen protector because a bunch of dust and particles got inside between the glass and screen after only being my pocket for 20 minutes or so. So extra bad as it cost me a 15$ screen protector on top of being a useless product. I’m gonna be looking for the actual Sony silicon case as I’m quite sure it’ll be able to accommodate a screen protector and has a similar design and protection factor.
