This little guy keeps your dash cam stuck to your window. Thats its only job and it does that well. I dont use that plastic static thing it comes with i worry it will fall if I do that. So I just skip that step and it works fine. It is super cheap and will save you from those suction cup things.

Adheres dash cam mount to CLEAN windshield firmly. Not reusable if switching Red Tiger dash cam to another vehicle. Original installation held up very well in summer heat and frigid cold. We traded in our vehicle for a new car, tried reusing old double sided sticky pad but camera keeps falling off in hot sun 🌞. Ordered new set, product delivery by USPS delayed 2 days. No reason given, even though my product is at our local USPS. If I pay for Amazon Prime membership and product is scheduled for delivery on a given date, I expect Amazon to deliver the product, not USPS. Other than the shipping delay, the product is well made.

Cannot re-use the adhesive if wanting to relocate the camera. So now I have extras just-in-case

I ordered this to move my camera from one vehicle to another. I don't know how this system of static cling and double back tape works so well. I thought I was going to break the windshield trying to get the double back tape off. As a matter of fact, I just left the electrostatic film in place. Cleaned the windshield of vehicle number 2, applied the film, and stuck the camera base in place. Done. I totally recommend the electrostatic film and adhesive kit by RedTiger.

I've used these to install the F7N and F7NP cameras in four vehicles over the past four years, and all of them are still holding strong. They've never fallen off or given me any trouble. I make sure to clean the glass with alcohol and a microfiber cloth, place the sticker first, then press the camera mount w/adhesive into place and let it sit for 24 hrs before adding the camera. I had to remove one of the cameras a couple of weeks ago after it had been installed in one of the vehicles for over two years. The sticker made removal a lot easier and cleaner than it would have been trying to get the adhesive itself off the glass. I've had good luck with REDTIGER products, and this one was no exception.
