Buy it
We've had it for a month now and quite impressed. Assembly was nothing special, not bad if you just follow the instructions step by step...and have a helper. Just leave the bolts in the coded blister pack until you need it/them. If you have them, use your own metric tools and you'll be happier. W/my sons help we had it together in 20-25 minutes but I would also say we are ranchers = tool guys. I am impressed by the quality, apparent sturdiness and fitting of the parts as well of lack of noise. It fits my 6'' 4", 34" inseam 310 lb. body with a few inches of room to spare on the seat rail while my 5' 2" wife loves it too. The only dings I can give it is the pulse meter is extremely sensitive to hand placement on the grips - if you're only a tiny fraction of an inch off the perfect grip it will give erratic or no readings and the usage/programming part of the manual could be better to get you started but will clear up fast with a little experimentation. Finally, the seat is well built and relatively comfortable but it sits flat and would stop some squirming/sliding around if it was slightly angled higher in the front helping to lock you into the rear seat pocket. Has really helped me with the bursitis in my hip!

Great bike. Quiet. Easy on and off..
This is a great bike for the money. I've been using it for about a month. It's very quiet. I got this for physical therapy because the nerves in my right leg were damaged during hip replacement. Easy on, easy off, easy to adjust. I have the bike with the electronic controls, which give more optional programs. Paid the 20 extra to put in my room of choice during delivery; well worth it, since the package is over 100 pounds. Has to have a handyman assemble it.

Strong, sturdy and Quality
I recently purchased this elliptical bike, and I couldnโt be more impressed with its performance and quality. First and foremost, itโs incredibly sturdyโyou can feel the solid construction the moment you step on it. It doesnโt wobble or shift, even during intense workouts, which gives me complete confidence while using it. The comfort level is outstanding as well. The pedals are comfortable , sturdy and ergonomically designed, making it easy to maintain long sessions without discomfort. The handles are padded and positioned perfectly, ensuring a natural grip throughout. One of the standout features is how smooth the motion is. The stride feels fluid and consistent, closely mimicking a natural running or walking motion. Thereโs no jarring or stiffness, making it gentle on the joints, which is a huge plus for me. Lastly, the overall quality of the machine is excellent. From the premium materials to the attention to detail in the design, itโs clear that this elliptical was built to last. I also appreciate how quiet it isโperfect for early morning workouts without disturbing the rest of the household. This elliptical bike is undoubtedly a great investment for anyone looking to improve their fitness at home. Itโs reliable, comfortable, and delivers a high-quality workout experience. Highly recommend!

Good product, but could be better
Excellent packaging. Lots of assembly required. All necessary tools are included, but use your own tools (metric) if you have them. The tools supplied are sometimes a bit awkward to use. Assembly was easy given the detailed instructions and well organized hardware, except for attaching the seat bar to the frame. The bolt holes did not line up well enough to get the bolts started. Customer support suggested prying into alignment using a screwdriver and/or flipping the seat bar, to no avail. Finally was able to gain sufficient alignment using two bar clamps and prying with the screwdriver. Customer service refused to acknowledge the need for the clamps so as to cover up the apparent manufacturing (or design) defect. Once together, the machine felt sturdy and operated smoothly. The display is hard to see without perfect lighting and viewing angle. User settings are not saved, so you have to re-enter your age and such each time you start an exercise session. The heart rate sensor works only with sufficiently damp hands and are located on the fixed handles rather than the exercise handles. I was hoping that my wife and I could use the machine to stay in shape, but the stride is too long for her. A shorter crank arm option would have been useful. The user interface, although functional, is a good 20 years behind the times.

Worth the time to assemble IMO
I have looked at this Sunny exercise elliptical bike many times, read reviews, watched videos, read the specs, and thought about it over and over. I don't like to buy something without being as sure as I can be that I will really use it and that it's the right version of whatever it is for me. I have a Sunny spin bike (SF-B1110) and it's very well built and operates really great IMO. For that reason, I didn't hesitate to consider this Sunny equipment now. I took a bad fall off of our deck almost two years ago and could hardly walk for months. Slowly I was moving more and now I'm moving pretty good but I still have trouble and lose my footing sometimes. I cannot get my leg up to step over the bar to get on the spin bike now. I need a step and still it's hard. Also, sitting in that position is hard on my back (after falling), so that is when I started thinking about this recumbent elliptical bike. In my mind it made sense that being able to sit with a backrest was what I needed right now. I really need a way to move enough to get my heart rate up and burn some calories and I thought that having the arm action would really help too. I finally went ahead and ordered one after looking at it on Amazon and the Sunny Health site for months. I'm so glad that I did. First, the box is big and heavy so unless you are the Hulk, I don't recommend trying to move it yourself. My husband and I managed to get it into the house (up four steps) and slid it into the house. Unpacking the box took about an hour. We opened the bottom of the box (long end), bent the flap back and then stood the box on that long end so that we could lift the box off of the equipment. It slid up easily and proved to be what I think is the best way to open the box. Next I spent time unpacking the various components which were nicely fit into styrofoam and taped on the outside so that nothing spilled out. It took a bit of time but I'm glad everything was packaged so well. That was enough for one day though! Yesterday my husband and I assembled the elliptical bike in the room it would be used it so I carried parts from the main room to that room and got a bit of a workout again. The heaviest component is the frame but I was able to move it myself. I think the instructions were good. The diagrams were a bit small for my eyes but that's what reading glasses are for. It looks complicated with all of the little parts and lines and labeling but if you read the instruction carefully and then look at the corresponding diagram, it will make sense. We worked our way through it one step at a time and didn't try to jump ahead when it was obvious that this should go here or that should go there. We waited until instructed because I didn't want to get ahead and then have to undo something. Getting the long axel into place (the part that the handles attach to, was a little tricky but there's a glob of grease in the tube and with a few little taps on one end the axel slid through pretty easily. Overall, I think this equipment is very well designed and made, and documented. It would definitely be harder for one person to build but that is possible. Working together it took my husband and I about 2 hours to assemble, a little less. We took our time to make sure we got it right. BTW, it's not as long as I was expecting which is nice. One reason I hesitated is I thought the footprint would be bigger and that it would be this bulky monster of a thing. it's not at all and that is a pleasant realization. Even with my achiness, I lifted it using the handle on the bottom of the frame at the back and rolled it around to position it differently from where it started out. It's heavy but I did fine. Using the elliptical bike is a breeze. Just make sure you know how to slide the slide the seat forward/backward, step through the frame and sit down. Set your feet on the pedals to see if you need to adjust the seat, move it if needed and the go. It doesn't need to be plugged in to use however, if you want to use any of the programs or you just want to change the pedal tension, you'll need to plug it in. The plug goes into the front of the frame and then you plug it into a wall outlet. We have Maine Coon cats that like to chew on some things so, because the cord is one of those thin ones, I don't leave it plugged in. When I'm done, I unplug from the wall and machine and put it up where the cats won't get at it. I have not tired any of the programs yet, I'm still getting used to using it and working up to doing it more (don't want to overdo to start because of my injury). I expect that I will really like this machine over time and will use it daily and I'm hoping it will help get my legs stronger and back to walking better. The arm exercise will be great too. If you are thinking about this equipment and it appeals to you, I say give it a try. The only thing is, if you change your mind you'll probably have to sell it locally because you'll never take it apart and put it back in the box! Haha!

Sunny Health Recumbent Cross Trainer
For me the assembly was no big deal. The video is more helpful than the written assembly instructions. Using the bike is great. I havenโt used the pre-programmed workouts yet, I just set the resistance and use the timer. The bike is well built and quiet when using.

Women - make sure the lumbar support is at the right level
I just recently received this elliptical bike and assembled it this week. Reading the reviews here I was concerned about 2 things with assembly: the left pedal, and screwing in the seat bottom. But things went fine. The axle for the left pedal had the correct screw thread direction. Both pedals attached well and theyโre both standing up to use and I donโt have to keep tightening the left one as some have had to do. And the machining for the seat bottom was fine and all screws lined up well and could be tightened. And for reference Iโm a 57 yo woman who sometimes assembles furniture and uses tools but is no expert. It is very heavy and I needed my husband to help me move to its location. Youโll need to assemble it where you plan to use it. The hardest part of assembly for me was attaching the swing arms and linking them to the pedals correctly. I used the YouTube video to follow assembly although some parts (the swing arm attachment) were a little different. I noticed that the video instructions had a different order of assembly than the manual but either way should be fine. So far Iโve been doing workouts through the SunnyFit app. Iโve been viewing it on a tv with hdmi but if it were a more recent tv you can mirror the app or use airplay. You set up a profile with your age, weight, height and you then donโt need to enter anything into the machine itself. It will calculate calories burned according to your profile info. Iโve noticed that the calories burned is greatly exaggerated! I had a 30 some minute workout and it said 500 calories burned. But an online calorie calculator suggested for someone my size it should have been about 250 or 300 calories. Iโll have to look into this and see if I can get it to make better estimates. So far Iโve only used โworld tourโ workouts. Bluetooth connectivity is easy and quick. Some of these workouts have no sound, none have a trainer. Iโve used iFit in the past and that was my favorite part of the app- hearing about an area from the trainer. Sometimes I wish iFit trainer would just quiet down, and I suppose thatโs what Iโm getting here with the SunnyFit app. Of course since the app is free it isnโt fair to compare. I notice all the workouts with trainers are in the same room, so itโs quite a step down to the sessions with iFit. There is much much fewer selections. When I restrict a search to elliptical workouts of intermediate or advanced workouts there are a couple dozen choices (world tour) and most are for running. Workouts like cross country skiing matches elliptical the best and there is just a handful of those. Iโll try to update after Iโve used it for a while! Edit: Iโm about 5โ4โ and I found I was setting my feet incorrectly and had foot pain. My mistake was to place the back of my shoe against the very bottom of the pedal where there is a little wall. I recommend that for shorter people place your foot in the very middle of the pedal (front to back) so the the strap isnโt over your toes but over the laces of your shoe. It should feel more ergonomic that way Edit 2: I'm still having lower back pain using this. Used a previous recumbent bike and didn't have this issue. Now I'm sitting on a pad because the back rest shape is not good for shorter people. You have to raise up on a pad in order for the back rest to be correct. Even so, I'm still running into issues. Edit 3: Iโve had this for a year now. I did develop back and knee pain. My issue was not being high enough so the the lumbar support hits the right spot in my lumbar curve. For me this meant getting a pad for the seat and putting a towel on top. Feel the dip of your lumbar curve and match it to the โpeakโ of the curve in the chair. Make sure the distance from pedals is correct. I had to get some styrofoam and tape it to the bottom section of the pedal so my foot can easily be in the middle. So lots of adjusting for fit for a smaller person If youโre young, maybe you donโt have to deal with this as much. Men should be ok, too I guess The Suunyfit app was disappointing for me over time since I want to bike for longer periods and I donโt want to follow a โtrainerโ. So I just watch my tv or iPad.

Make sure you shop around.
Avoid! Good product idea, but too many issues to recommend I previously rated this two stars, I'm going to one star now. The seat does not stay in place when they handle is locked. After 10 to 15 minutes on it, the seat just slides back. I wish I can get my money back ๐ก The machine itself has potential, but itโs extremely heavy, which makes returning it unrealistic. The seat adjustment feels wobbly and not secure, and the display is hard to read and not intuitive at all. If youโve used a NuStep in physical therapy, this doesnโt come closeโthe angle forces your knees much higher, and the motion just isnโt as smooth. The handles only have two adjustment positions, which really should be variable. I bought the more expensive version expecting higher quality, but one of the arms arrived bent and had to be reshaped. Thereโs also a clicking noise during use, and the motion isnโt smooth. Pros: Decent price when on sale Footrests are wide and reasonably comfortable App connects easily Cons: Too heavy to return Wobbly seat adjustment Hard-to-read, nonโintuitive display. A simple touch screen LCD from a cheap phone would be better. Limited handle adjustments Knee angle much higher than NuStep One arm arrived bent Clicking noise and rough motion App is connected but cumbersome to use I feel stuck with it at this point. Next time, Iโd consider a different brand or model.

Good quality
Great recumbent bike, better than any i have tried in various gyms. Incredibly omfortable seat and back rest as well! The assembly takes several hours but is well explained in instruction manual that comes with it. I only had trouble connecting the app to the bike, but then I have not tried hard yet, as it works very well with the pre installed and manual programs. It deserves its 5*

Good Bike
This exercise bike is a good deal ...It arrived on time, was well package and the instructions for assembly were clear and easy to follow. The bike itself is well constructed and the programming is easy to follow. I do agree with other reviews in that there is a bit of difficulty in aligning the holes during assembly particularly when assembling the seat area, however with a little patience it does come together ...if you are looking for a cross trainer bike this is a good bike at a real good price
