Riceland Long Grain White Rice, 16 Oz, 2 Pack, 1 Pound each

Not all rice is created equal. We used Riceland for years, but then our grocery store stopped carrying it in order to promote the store brand. I couldn’t find it anywhere, but thanks to Amazon, we can eat our favorite rice again. The grain is longer, more tender and plump and much better tasting than other brands.

Needed a pound of rice during the time that many other buyers seemed caught up in an 'instant prepper' panic. Despite this, they managed to get this to me promptly. The price wasn't gouging me and the rice was delicious. Will buy again from this vendor.

This is good quality rice, but the price is high for the quantity you are getting. I wanted to try other types of long grain rice and I did like it, but did not love the flavor or the price.

I am a bit disappointed that I didn't get the rice described. I love the brand, it is the only rice my mother used so it is a very familiar brand. There is a difference between extra long grain and long grain. At least change the picture! I cooked this rice for the first time last night and it was sticky and not very appetizing. I tried to return it but can't. Very, very disappointed.

A delicious American grown rice. Tip: sauté it for 2 min in a little butter before adding the water. That brings out a nutty flavor and aroma. It also assures fluffy rice. Great product. Company very responsive too.

This is not long-grain rice. This boiled up to just short of total mush. It's not like Uncle Bens. The grains are not sperate at all. They clump. Probably be ok for rice pudding. or in a soup. I won't buy it again.

Riceland is the only rice my mom likes to use in her rice pudding. Says it creates the perfect consistency and I agree. She was thrilled to get this. Riceland sent a cookbook and handwritten letter with it which made this an amazing surprise package. I’m really impressed that the rice is all grown in Missouri and Arkansas. Driving through I had seen rice paddies but never processed what they were. That also explains why I can’t find Riceland in stores after our cross country move. As of right now the price is amazing. Will definitely order again.

I haven't bought any rice brand except Uncle Ben,s for as long as I can remember. However, after giving this brand a try I was pleasantly surprised. This is a quality rice so don't be afraid to try it.
