FCC registered unit will visually alert when phone rings. Works from phone line voltage. Will NOT work with wireless or mobile phones. No batteries or external power source required. Excellent for the hearing impaired, noisy factory or shop environment or when TV or Stereo are at high volume. Easily installed on modular phones. Simply plug into wall jack and plug phone into unit. Has switch on the side for flasher only or flasher and ringer. Ringer is not louder than normal telephone ringer but provides an additional ring.

**Q: it this flasher installed ajacent to phone or ajacent to the phone jack? in other works does the pigtail that is shown attached to the flasher, does that plug into the phone or to the wall jack?**
A: It can be used both ways. As a stand alone, plugged into it's own phone socket, or if you don't have a spare phone socket, use as a pass through. Plug the flasher first then plug the phone into the flasher. The flasher gets it's power from the phone socket, can't remember if it uses batteries or not.

**Q: Can this be used with ip voip phones? if so how do i hook it up?**
A: VoIP phones are essentially land lines running over the internet. Just plug this into your VoIP modem and your phone into this and you’re good to go.

**Q: does it work with digital system?**
A: I believe it does. My friend has comcast service, if that is what you mean--it works great or also with a landline service. It is plenty loud and the flashing light is a bonus.

**Q: Is this weatherproof?**
A: Well, I wouldn't take it swimming, but I thik with some protection it might survive a little weather.
