These are for small jars and fit what I needed. They work as advertised and display the level of moisture accurately. I will be buying the larger ones soon

I love the concept of these, but the implementation could be better. These jar lids come with a silicone ring to seal them, just like Masontops have. However, the plastic making up the outer part of the lid is softer than it should be. The mixed reviews on if it does or does not get a good seal are because it's really hard to get the threads lined up and then screwed onto a jar. Because of how soft the material is, it's really easy to strip the threads, after that it's even harder to get a seal. You know how on some store jars the threads in the lid are made of wax? It's very similar, except I'm not sure the threads line up as well as the ones on the wax lids do. I get that costs need to be controlled to make a profit, but I think the soft plastic was a big enough mistake that either the plastic needs to be upgraded to something stronger or the design needs to be completely rethought - maybe to work with/under a standard jar ring instead of handling the threads itself. I'd be happy to pay more for a stronger plastic or even a metal lid.

Bought these for the drying/ curing process part of my ganja harvest. They work very well. Humidity reading is fairly accurate. Only need about 5 minutes to get a good reading on a curing jar. Don't leave them on constantly. Battery will die much faster. 1 of these is enough to monitor 20 jars during the curing phase. 2 made it easier. I'll definitely buy these again.

Update: I wrote before that one of my lids wasn't showing any display. This seller was very responsive to my concerns and sent a replacement box, telling me to return the first ones. However, when the new ones arrived, BOTH lids were blank where the temp and humidity are supposed to be. My husband looked and saw there is a very small button on the back, which when held in, lights the screen! I tried this with the original one that I thought was broken and lo and behold, it worked! This is actually a great feature, so you don't draw so much from the battery when you're not using the lids. I just wished the company had told me to check for this before sending me new ones. Now I hate to have to send them back when there is nothing wrong with them. Original Review: Of the two in the package, only one was working! The other just had a blank screen. It may just need a new battery, but I'm frustrated because it was supposed to come with a working battery. I don't know if I should just return them both or not. Hoping the company reaches out to me to make it right.

Does not seal properly

I really wish you guys would give a jar size recommendation for this lid like will it work the same on a very large jar the same as a small jar but other than that I've had no problems with it yet and I still use it all the time just make sure to remember to change your batteries regularly for best results

I like the convenience and functionality of these lids for curing my Marijuana.

Not air tight
