HydraPak 28mm Filter Kit Water Filtration Accessory (28mm Thread)

This little thing is amazing and super versatile the price is super affordable also it's so convenient to click right in and attach to water bladder for my hiking bag and its super easy to clean also highly recommend trying it out for yourself!!!

I bought this filter to use on a backpacking trip. I loved the fact that it was compatible with reservoirs and water bottles. I didn't have the highest of expectations, but this filter is 10x better than I was expecting. The adapters are easy to use/understand, it's compatible with my gear AND it does a great job filtering. I'd recommend this for anyone looking for a lightweight, easy to use filter that's super compatible.

Exactly as described and easy to use

I got this after one too many experiences at festivals drinking weird-tasting water. I know Insomniac claims that they filter their water but I beg to differ. I had to jerry-rig this filter to my Osprey hydration pack by cutting the tubing at the exiting end of the hydration bladder short (about 1.5 inches left) and inserting it in the filter that way. To prevent the filter from moving around too much, I duct-taped it to the bladder. It's not the most elegant-looking solution but it works. My water tastes fresh with no weird tastes. The only downside is that the filter doesn't "open" up like the Camelbak branded one so you can't clean it. However, I like this Hydrapak one more because it is clear and I can see if mold or other nasties are growing in it. When the filter gets more mileage, I'll probably replace it with the same one.

I purchased as a gift. It's small and compact making it perfect weight for backpacking. Great value. Looks like it would filter out taste and smell and be easy to clean!

Handy to have for hiking or in case of a water emergency. Haven’t needed to try it yet, hopefully it works.

Doesn't fit on Camelbac. This filter doesn't "lock" on the Camelbac. You can see in the pictures that the area for the locking ring is way too small on the filter (compare red areas). It just falls right out when I try to attach it.

Takes away the bad taste!

This is a dynamite water filter- travels really well and works with water bottles, no problem! Weighs just about nothing, and slips easily into my backpack or purse.

Filter is a must have for folks doing over night hikes and having to use water sources that you come across.

Can't comment on the efficacy of the filter just yet, but the package was open upon arrival. Doesn't look as if it had been actually used but still disappointing to see as it was supposed to be a brand new item.
