So far I have three of those on my panel and have been running two of those for the past 2 weeks. I know they are usually used for spas and outdoor pools, but I have them on all the legacy wiring left at my place. Some of that lacks proper grounding and goes everywhere. I don’t have a reason to suspect it is unsafe, but I don’t particularly trust it either. This way if one of those wires ever does something stupid, the breaker would kill the circuit. Works as intended so far. I have not had nuisance breaker trips so far.

Perfect replacement for my Murray circuit breakers. They work flawlessly and I upgraded 2 of these breakers (4 total) from AFCI to dual feature in about 10 minutes -- and given that I'm not an electrician, this was pretty easy. I tested both with the test button and an AFCI/GFCI testing tool on the receptacles and it was great. They are about the same size, so easily fit in the breaker box. It's only been about 30 hours since installing, but the breaker hasn't tripped, so I'm very happy. Note: It's important for safety: If you are installing these in a subpanel, make sure that your ground wires and your neutral wires do not go to the same bar in the panel -- it's very dangerous! Grounds go to one, neutrals (pigtails) go to the other!
