I gave this 5 stars and I hope to get lots of use on this machine. I purchased this machine because we live in a very rural area, over 30 miles to the nearest gym. I am (trying) to recover from a couple of injuries and traveling to PT 3 times a week just isn't enough. Plan your space-this is a large machine so you will need a bit of floor space for placement. It weights a ton!! We had to unbox in the drive and carry in the pieces because my husband and I weren't able to manage the package (we are on the older side). It's not easy to move around, so make sure you assemble right where you want it. It took a couple of hours to assemble, the directions are detailed and concise and illustrations are provided. If you are not good at following directions, you will have problems with assembly. I purchased the model with cable tension (not the electromagnetic) because I wanted a quiet workout. It is absolutely the quietest thing ever...I was so surprised at how smooth this machine is. It is easy (and safe) to get on and off (a big plus for older folks) and the velcro straps are perfect for keeping feet in place while pedaling (if you need that feature). The seat adjusts easily, it's very comfortable to sit on for the duration of your workout. It is a very stable ride. The machine is rated for 300 Lbs and since we are no where near that mark, I can't say how secure a very heavy rider might feel on the machine but by the looks of it, I think it would work very well. The tension adjustment range is just fine for us. The computer is probably more than I need. It automatically shows all that I care about, so I didn't bother to read up on how to customize. So far, I am very happy with this machine, it is perfect if you have the floor space and an excellent choice for older adults who may have some mobility limitations. I am so glad that I didn't select a less expensive, fold-up model.

It’s been a year since I received this recumbent cross trainer elliptical. There was a part missing and I contacted the seller (Sunny Health and Fitness). They were quick to respond and went above and beyond to get it to me quickly and even stayed in touch with me to ensure the assembly went well; which wasn’t at all difficult. It’s held up well and I’m sure I’m going to get many more years of use from it. The only downside I’ve found is that there isn’t a backlight on the display so sometimes it’s difficult to read it. Other than that, I highly recommend this piece of equipment. It’s well made and extremely durable.

Got this cross trainer for my husband who is not real steady on his feet. Being able to sit and exercise is just what he needs. I’m also using it to help strengthen my knees and build up my stamina. It took a little while to assemble it, it wasn’t to hard to do. Wish the parts were labeled a little better. Instructions and videos were helpful. Wish list for this cross trainer is to have a swivel seat.

I'm very happy with my purchase of the Sunny Health Recumbent Cross Trainer. It is definitely worth what I paid. It offers upper and lower body workouts, several different adjustable resistance levels all with a electronic display that shows riding time, distance traveled, your current pulse rate when you hold the lower side handles and more. It also features a cup holder so you can stay hydrated while working out and an adjustable seat for your comfort no matter your height. And also has wheels at the front of the bike making it easy to move about wherever you feel necessary. I feel it's a good quality bike with good solid materials to last a long time.

Had This machine delivered Sept 17th and it already broke. The belt inside the machine shredded and the unit seized up. Called the company and all they can do is replace the belt and give me a couple of tools to help replace the belt. That's their great warranty. This is going to take a couple of hours. All the help they give you is to watch videos on Youtube. According to Amazon it's past the return date. Spent almost $600 for this machine which had a good rating but the company is CRAP. Ask them to replace to bottom unit where the problem is and they wouldn't even do that. Don't buy their products. Don't waste your money. Also on an item like this Amazon isn't helping either.

Bought sunny to replace teeter after a tornado. Glad to have an opportunity to change from teeter. Smooth operation. Takes patience to assemble. Appreciate pulse monitor to ensure I am safely working out. This workout is absolutely great for seniors with mobility issues. Provides both leg and arm workout similar to cardio pt gym. Very happy with purchase. Sturdy frame.

This makes it very easy to finally get full body exercise comfortably. Had knees replaced and lost 50 lbs on Atkins but as a lifelong loafer...really needed to get my heart and full body working well, this is the answer. So quiet, stable, comfortable and no plug in or another monitor to bother with. Put my phone up in slot and watch TV across the room while working out. I just wish I had one 15 yrs ago but probably would not be as great as this design. I had a stationery bike trying it with 4 bought seats but all painful and bad painful leaning forward position plus way too high up. This has no such drawbacks or a electronic display to fry like that bike.

I used a much more upscale machine during my cardiac rehab and wanted one like it at home that didn't cost $12,000 so I could split exercise time between it and our treadmill. I wanted to spend less than $1,000 and after reading reviews and looking locally selected this one. After nearly five weeks, using it 4-5 times a week I am very pleased with it. It went together fairly easily. The assembly instructions were overall very good. The hardware package was exceptional as each assembly step was packaged and labeled separately on a large card. Three small boxes held other larger components that were also labeled. Right and Left handed parts were labeled. The only things I would note on assembly is that the diagrams in the directions are small and I had to blow them up with my phone. I found the bolts and washers that hold the stem to the frame that the monitor sets on loose in the bottom of the shipping container for some reason. Someone should have reminded me that just like a bicycle, the pedals have one bolt that is reverse threaded (the left). I wasted some time trying to thread it on the wrong way. Besides that the only really tricky part was attaching the cable that adjusts the tension settings. This is the only place where the instructions could have been clearer. They include tools to assemble and I mostly used them, though I did use a crescent wrench and a channel locks pliers. If you don't have these the included tools work well enough. Beyond these things the monitor is battery powered. As soon as you begin pedaling it comes to life. I'm waiting to see how long the AA batteries that are included last. I am very pleased so far and I am using it regularly. It has relieved the monotony of time spent only on the treadmill. The advantage of this over a recumbent bike is that the load can be shared by both arms and legs. AT times I rest my legs and let the arms do all the work. It seems well constructed and fit together without any real issues. So far, so good. I like it a lot.
