The Thermalright LGA1700-BCF anti-bending fastener was exactly what I needed to resolve contact issues with my Noctua cooler. Whether or not this has any thermal benefits remains to be seen, but that wasn't the intent of my purchase. For reference, please search for GamerNexus youtube findings on "Intel bending" heat spreader issue. Basically, due to the standard motherboard CPU retention mechanisms for Intel, the CPU could be "bent" concave slightly such that contact to your CPU cooler, whether air cooled or water cooled, is not optimal. Everything will work fine but you may get higher temps because of this. To rectify this, it was recommended to use a CPU frame like this one. There's a nice more expensive German made brand from Thermal Grizzly. I went with this one because of two things: 1) it's cheaper 2) the install was easier as it doesn't "float" like the Thermal Grizzly. For install, it's kinda fool proof. You re-use the screws from the motherboard's ILM. And you simply screw it down, catty-corner, until the screws stop. The Thermal Grizzly requires precise number of turns, etc. and you could overtighten and bend CPU pins, etc. For this Thermalright, it was pretty dang EASY. BTW, GamerNexus reviewed both Thermal Grizzly and Thermalright CPU frames. Both recommended and he had a hard time finding any cons with this one. As for temps?? Keep in mind I'm air cooled (Noctura DH-15S), not water cooled. I have this on an Intel 13900KF (no overclocking, actually undervolted) - at idle I'm easily at 29-30 C for all P-cores. I've read others with stock setup easily at 38-42 C!! Literally, for the price paid for this it's nearly a dollar per degree C improvement. SO WORTH IT!!! My temps beat some people's water cooled setup. It's crazy. One of the BEST investments you can make if you have an Intel 12th gen, 13th gen, and later gen processor!!!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend it!!! You will not regret it!

Worked exactly like the instruction video. I have noticed temps 5-10c lower since installing it. If your on LGA-1700, just go ahead and get this. It will make your life much cooler. It also looks great in the case with your other PC parts. Don't be intimidated by the installation, it's just putting 4 screws in. It will most likely improve the longevity of your CPU by keeping it's temps much lower.

I had heard that this bracket helps reduce cpu temps by over 5 degrees which doesn’t sound like much but considering I’m running a 14900k I’d say that it’s well worth it, it also fits perfectly which reduces the odds of the cpu bending over time to basically zero. It doesn’t come with the needed screws but that’s because you use the ones on the bracket that already comes with your motherboard. Overall I would say this can definitely help your computer’s performance due to the lower temperatures it helps create and how it reduces the risk of cpu bending over time. For the price it’s definitely worth it and I recommend it to anyone using a 12, 13, and 14th gen Intel cpu in their build.

Works super well, I just hope intel fixes this b.s problem of lopsided cpus but whatever. The thing is a solid chunk of metal that dose it's job well, its easy ass hell to put on, but taking the old parts off feel sketch. Its great for the price though and I really need to buy 2 more

Viene en una caja pequeña con su destornillador (una barra de metal con forma de L), dado que el ILM original viene con tornillos oficiales. Las instrucciones son más de adorno, no son muy explicativas. Recomiendo el tutorial de Der8auer para instalarlo, dado que existen personas que hay destruído su procesador y placa madre al instalarlo o tienen problemas para reconocer las RAM. Grosso modo, usen el sentido común: 1. Colocar la placa de fijación del disipador 2. Abrir el ILM original 3. Colocar el procesador 4. Quitar el ILM original manteniendo el orden de los tornillos 5. Colocar el marco de Thermaltake 6. Colocar el tornillo, y dar vueltas como si se quisiera desatornillar 7. Cuando se escuche un clic, dar media vuelta para atornillar 8. Repetir en todos los tornillos 9. Girar con dos dedos usando el eje del destornillador hasta que muestren resistencia, hacerlo por tornillo. 10. Atornillar dando un 1/4 de vuelta a la vez por tornillo, apoyándose con el "mango" de destornillador, hasta que se sienta una ligera resistencia.

Ürün harika işini yapıyor. Tereddüt etmiştim ama en az 8-10 derece daha az ısınıyor işlemci. Kesinlikle stok işlemci tutucudan daha iyi. Tavsiye ederim.
