IMUSA 6 or 3 Cup Electric Espresso Maker Black Coffee Machine for Cuban Coffee, Moka and Espresso Drinks

I’m on my third IMUSA 3-Cup Electric Espresso Maker (Black) and I keep coming back to it because it makes excellent Cuban coffee! This little machine delivers rich, strong, authentic espresso with great crema every single time. It heats up fast, works reliably, and is super easy to use and clean — perfect for my daily cafecito. I’ve had to replace it every couple of years because the heating element and seals do deteriorate over time with daily use, but honestly, for the price it’s totally worth it. Two solid years of perfect coffee is great value in my book. The quality is consistent across every unit I’ve bought, and it still outperforms many more expensive machines for traditional Cuban-style coffee. If you love strong, flavorful espresso or Cuban coffee at home, this is a solid, affordable choice. I’ll definitely keep buying it as needed. Highly recommend!

I bought this coffee maker as a gift for my husband so I could make Cuban coffee, and I love it. I really like that it’s electric. It looks very sleek and well-made, and the material feels high quality. Everything about it just works. It’s simple, practical, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. You can make either 3 or 6 cups, which is very convenient. Overall, I’m very happy with it.

produces great tasting coffee the instructions are not great. I had to do a bunch of googling to learn how the half-serving works. you have to put the little metal disc into the funnel (it will rest about halfway in on the little ledge) before the coffee goes in. then you fill to the edge with coffee and you're good to go. for the water, fill it up to the visible line about halfway up the reservoir. I measured it out and it's exactly half if you do that. also, the little half serving adapter disc is bent up. I watched videos of other peoples' IMUSA pot and theirs was bent up as well. seems to just be a normal issue. the last thing I didn't like was that there's no built in storage for the half serving adapter disc. not even like a little plastic clip or something to attach it to when not in use. they could easily add something like that. but I still give it 4 stars due to producing great tasting coffee in a convenient package.

The product came with a strange 2 pin plug. I then purchased a European plug as an adaptive but the thin 2 prong plug did not fit into this either. I have attempted to rewrite it into a UK plug. The light comes on but it doesn’t work. Total disaster!
