Water Pump Leaks
Typically, I would recommend anything made by Gates. In this case, I purchased thru Amazon and been unsuccessful in submitting a warranty claim. Water pump began leaking from behind the pulley approximately 2 weeks after installing it. Since I didn't install it for several weeks after purchasing, by the time it failed, the window to return/refund on Amazon has closed.

I was skeptical about this particular gates water pump due to reviews here. I have never had major issues with gates water pumps not lasting a decent amount of time without failing/leaking so I gave it a shot to find out for myself. I have only installed the water pump and don't have many miles on it yet, but I will update my review at next oil change and inspect the water pump.

Water Pump leaks after 6 months...
This pump lasted 6 months. I thought Gates was a good brand name and unfortunately this part didn't work out. Go buy the Mopar part, save time and money by doing the job once.

Didn't make the 10k-mile mark before it started leaking.
I replaced a leaking stock pump at 40k miles. This one seems to be good quality and was an easy install. I've put about 5k miles on it so far, and it's working as it should.

Water pump failed in less than 2 months.
Poor quality product, it failed in less than two months and now it's leaking from the center shaft. I expected more from this brand, they used to be good back in the day. Won't recommend this product, will go with OEM as I should've done the first time. Vehicle is a 2020 Durango GT Plus V6.

Hasn’t been a year not even 5000 miles put on the jeep and it’s on to the next pump. Let’s hope 4th times a charm
