KSEIBI 598240 Industrial Grade Unibit 3-Pieces Step Drill Bits Set

Love these! I am building a shipping container home and I was having a hard time drilling the starter holes to cut out windows and door in the steel. After getting these bits I was able to drill the holes much easier and faster. Quality is A+! The value is good as Ace Hardware wanted $60 for one bit.I love having 3 sizes and a nice storage box.

I’ve been using this KSEIBI step drill bit set for about a month now on different home metalworking projects, and I’m really happy with how they’ve held up. I mostly work on DIY repairs in the garage — stuff like fixing brackets, making cleaner holes in sheet metal, and modifying hardware — and these bits have made that way easier.They cut smooth and don’t grab or jump when I start drilling, which is something I’ve had trouble with in cheaper sets. I’ve used them on aluminum, steel, and even some old brackets I wasn’t sure about, and they still feel sharp. For the price, they’ve definitely delivered more than expected — really solid value for the money.Functionality-wise, they hit the mark. The steps are clearly marked, so it’s easy to stop at the right size without over-drilling. The metal feels durable, and they haven’t overheated or dulled quickly, even with frequent use. I haven’t had to sharpen them yet, which says a lot.If you do light to medium-duty metal work at home, this set punches well above its weight. Solid performance and a good buy all around.

These things did great going through most of what I used them on, but I'd question the impact rating. I broke a bit in my first set trying to open up a hole on a trailer for a wiring harness. When built they used a torch to blow a hole in the metal. I wanted a nicer rounded hole for passing protective sleeving through. Was using the bit in my impact driver because drill was too long to fit in area. Bit promptly caught and snapped off at the shank.Was still in return window and Amazon or seller was quick to replace. Haven't had any more issues, but also haven't put them into a similar situation.

Have gotten more use out of these than Milwaukee ones. Very sharp and cut nice.

They cut fast. In the video you can see that I am torquing on these bits. I cut 8 9/16 inch holes in truck frame rails, heavy thick steel. I would have burned through ALL of my Snap On drill bits if I abused them like these bits. I put them under as much force as I could, held them to the metal and made them cut. And cut they did. Hole after hole, until I broke two of them. Granted, I was using a come along around my back so I had more force and I was cutting at an angle. You can see it in the video. I will buy more of these. I have never seen a drill bit cut like this without dulling the tip point. They stay sharp even under abuse. They will break if you abuse them too much. It was my fault they broke. I have never owned a drill bit or set of drill bits that are as good as these. Buy them!!!
