Quality original replacement part
The equivalent original cover this is replacing lasted for 8 years. It had a removable foam liner, this one is stitched in, so I'm less likely to risk a journey into the washing machine, but the previous one never needed washing. It does mean it's easier to fit. I particularly appreciated new plastic cord winder and rubber side tension bungee, I'd wondered if that was only supplied with the board and was looking pretty tired. I'll probably get more life out of this cover, as the main damage was staining and finally a rip where I'd leave the iron for brief shirt realignments. Then removing the iron stain with 3% HO and a few glides of a hot iron, this probably significantly damaged the cotton leading to the tear. That said, 8 years is still pretty good.

Odd colours would be better all the same as it looked faded. Quality product though and easy to fit on a Brabantia ironing board

Good quality durability and effectiveness
Having purchased a Brabantia (B) ironing board a few years back I noticed that the foam on the original cover was disintegrating so I took the plunge and purchased this complete cover set which included a large felt sheet for added depth. It definitely pays to buy a cover set thatโs made by the same company as the ironing board. brabantia May be a bit more pricey but itโs good quality, the size fits perfectly and although ironing is never fun this new cover works very well.

Superb fitting
A very smart looking cover for the Brabantia ironing board. Is full thickness and fits nice and tight. It is a two handed fit as needs to pulled to stretch the lining to achieve the good fit. Very smooth and garments slide nicely to enable good ironing. Highly recommended.
