Loud enough...but no volume control

I bought this product to make a burglar alarm connected to a microwave motion detector. The alarm is quite loud for its size. The big problem is there is no volume control. I don't think it is easy to get an AC volume control knob. With its full sound, it will be disturbing to neighbors and not practical. Therfore I returned the product and bought another alarm with volume control knob.
