The "glass" bottle moisture trap part I believe is plastic, not glass (though I don't have it handy to tell you that 100%), and the knob and red ring on the regulator are plastic. The housing, fittings, and gauge, are all metal, and there's metal in the pressure release valve at the bottom of the glass (or plastic) moisture trap. **Q: My gauge is upside diwn** A: Can you not tighten where it screws in so it goes upright? Make sure Teflon plumbing tape is used at all the threaded fittings. Also make sure the filter is bolted securely to something solid. The exact arrangement may be shuffled about in a number of ways and a variety of methods may be used to adapt the various fittings to suit your needs. Double check the types and sizes of openings and such before you purchase anything as these types of devices may change the details from production to production to reduce costs or cater to the latest market popularity. **Q: My mini air compressor has a 1/8" air outlet will this fit my compressor?** A: The regulator comes connections on the Regulator itself are 1/4". In the picture, what you see is the 1/4" to 1/8" adaptor that comes OUT of the regulator, so you can hook a 1/8" airbrush line up to it. I had to take my compressor's moisture trap (I didn't have a trap/regulator combo) and use a 1/4" male/male connector to connect my new regulator moisture trap/regulator up.If you have a 1/8" outlet on the compressor itself, I'd assume there's no reason you couldn't use the 1/4" to 1/8" adaptor on the regulator for fitting it. I'm surprised your compressor's outlet is that small though.
