Excellent product. Just making my turtles a little side pen for entertainment and a little sunbathing. Great price. Great absorption rate. Great volume increase. The product was clean. It as a deep rich brown color with a nice Esther smell. I was completely satisfied with this purchase. It even left my n pocketbook slightly fuller than usual. I bought several. The next brick is for my plants. They’re gonna be so happy.

Did a good enough job that I went back to buy 4 more. But I will say the package came broken and i got coconut dirt everywhere. theres no instructions, and I couldn’t find any online so I just ended up adding water until it seemed okay. its also not much at all, I have a big tank to be fair but I thought 2 bricks would cover at least the bottom layer. I was wrong.

As expected. Used to mix with sand for hermit crab substrate. Works well

A friend of ours -- who has raised snakes for quite some time -- recommended this stuff to us. The only thing I underestimated was how much water would stretch this out! So a word to the wise: don't hydrate it all at once!! Especially if you order 2 bricks at a time, like we do XD. We absolutely love this stuff. We ordered it for a royal ball python and it's PERFECT for them. She loves to burrow and dig around in it. It's also EXTREMELY easy to switch out when it's time to clean the tank. Seems to help with the humidity levels they need, too! (Don't forget the moss, though. It's a combination deal that really maintains it.) The only thing I'd caution you on is if you ever deal with annoying little mites like we did. They'll use this stuff to hide. (Which, in NO way, is a negative towards them. :) I just wanna stress that!) All we had to do was sub this stuff with some paper towels while we got rid of said mites. As soon as she was clear, we went straight back to this stuff. Very happy royal ball python! I highly recommend this product, ESPECIALLY if you've got a royal ball python!

I use this in my chicken coop and it works great. So easy to scoop out the chicken poo and keeps the smell down. A little bit goes a long way. Lasts longer than other products. Doesn’t create dust and cause breathing issues

Brilliant coconut mix here, easy to use. I was surprised at first when it was in blocks?, you just soak it in water , very straightforward, I was used to using a forest substrate, the only reason I switched to coconut mulch substrate was because the forest dirt mix would attract flies more so than the coconut and on another plus side , the coconut mix smells alright too, instead of earthy smell you would usually get. Highly recommend for your insect pets !
