This is the second one of these I have bought. My first was much smaller. Although they take a while to put together, they last a long time and are super customizable. I did not add the storage shelves on mine. The zip ties are the biggest pain and hurt my hands after putting on a couple hundred. I would definitely recommend this cage. Also a much more affordable option than most cages. It does well and gets the job done though. It will shake because it is flimsy, but it will not fall apart as long as you add the zip ties provided for support. Took me 4 hours to put together without breaks.

I got this for my outdoor cats to be in a safe area away from cars and the road. It took 2 hours to build and 2 more hours to reinforce. If you do not use the zip ties the cats can tear this thing down like nothing. You have to reinforce every corner every platform. Ever edge and middle area. The worst part was the roof it dose not line up correctly so you have corners that do not fit or reach some areas and it looks rickidy. But zip tye them and it will keep from falling. Zip tye the roof sides middles edges and it will stay in place. They don't really send this thing with enough conecter peaces. But the ziptyes work btw buy more ziptyes you'll need them. Over all it is pretty good honast as long as you get it put together and reinforce it with the ziptyes it stays up and together pretty sure we'll. But the price is boughus it's way way way over priced really if I knew what I knew now I'd of just invested in a 200$ chicken run and put a tarp over the top. It would be way bigger and way safer. Because this thing is crap if you don't have ziptyes. Really... But if it keeps my cats from getting hit in the road I say it's worth it because of there safety

This cage is highly customizable for shape & design but it comes in LOTS & lots of pieces & is VERY time consuming & tedious to set up so make sure you have time to do it. We purchased this set up for our fox squirrels & it has worked well, they love the space. It is sturdy enough for what we are using it for, it is a metal frame & doesn’t contain too much plastic but you definitely need to make sure that the pieces are well clipped into the plastic brackets as the corners can pop apart if not clipped in securely. We also did not receive the hammocks that were said to come with the set.

I got this because my cats like to meow under the bedroom doors at night. A lot of the reviews that I was reading were saying that this was ripping and just falling apart right away. This is not been my experience. I have 3 cats that will not let me clip their nails. I have not had a single panel rip. It is true however that this thing takes forever to put together. My wife and I got so tired of doing it the first go around that we periodically came back to it over the course of a week. I also purchased a couple hundred small zip ties because I wanted more than what was included. I decided to set it up different than the instructions because it came with the bare minimum. The instructions were also not the easiest to decipher. The frustration of putting it together is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars. Once you put it together it's great. My cats seem to enjoy hiding in it and playing inside. 10 month update: It completely fell apart.. The panels ripped and some of the welds broke causing the squares to be unusable. I had to throw it away. All-in-all, I’m going to go with something else next time that is more durable.

This contraption comes with very few instructions, and the materials are feeble. One of the pieces broke as we were assembling it. I would not recommend purchasing this particular cat play-yard.

So I did not get this product for a cat, I got it for a 5 ft iguana! I’ve recently had to move a lot and will have to move again in the near future and trying to take his huge wooden enclosure each place I had to move just wasn’t working. I love this because it is big and can easily be taken apart and reconstructed. As far as the material goes it is sturdy enough to support my 10lb boy climbing up and down the sides and laying on the grates to bask. I highly recommend for anyone in a similar situation looking for a transportable, sturdy enclosure for a lizard or cat!

It's a great outside enclosure, however it's a pain to figure out how to put the inside together. The instructions are horrible for that so I just had to wing it and also it's breaks when trying to put together Positive note...my cats love it!

Make sure you put a few hours min aside to put this together. I had my two sons help me zip tie and snap things in place. I ended up using the extra parts to make a corner shelf and trades out a few panels on top for the grated ones. Moved the tip open hatch to the side so I could access the kittens on that spot. I still have no idea where the white snap pieces went, so never used them. Just Zip tie every connection spot, every corner, buy extra zip ties
