Really like this blender but ONLY purchase it on sale, do not pay full price. I don’t think it’s worth $149.95 but at $75.00 that’s a much more reasonable price. Wait for it to go on sale.

A tank! Powers through everything I've thrown at it. Expensive, but worth it so far.

This has been a great immersion blender! We love it and use it often. The different attachments are well built and easy to swap out. Easy to use and fairly quiet too. The grip is comfy and easy to hold.

I loved this initially when I just made mayo and felt the torque the motor has. But then I had issues. Update: the blender went down and was actually smoking from trying to puree asparagus soup.. maybe some fiber in there but it shouldn’t have gotten bogged down like that. Blendtec is in the process of replacing it but it’s been almost 2 weeks of back and forth emails.. pretty sad customer service After a month, Blendtec finally set me up with a return label that I had to print and seal up and drop off at UPS. They say they will ship me out a new one. It’s been almost a week and I’m still waiting. I finally received my new one and the blade head won’t spin.. the motor gets hot.. I’m just making a butter chicken sauce.. soft, sauteed garlic and onion and cooked crushed tomatoes and heavy cream.. this is insanely pathetic that it gives out on this I used it again and after use I opened and there was smoke.. the motor was not hot.. it was METAL SHARDS. I puréed cottage cheese with chicken stock for a high protein butternut squash carbonara with egg yolk jam. This is INSANE! I’ve used high end commercial robocoupe immersion blenders and I’ve also used cheap Cuisinart and Kitchenaid ones.. I’ve never experienced such a hunk of garbage in my life. Check photos for metal shards and burrs on this terrible unit. I’ve used blendtec products in a commercial setting and bought thousands of dollars worth of their products for a decade.. their blenders are great but this thing is awful. Absolutely toxic and dangerous.

The warranty on this product is amazing. I called and talked with a representative who handled the return and replacement as we talked. While we were on the phone, I sent her a picture of the blender stick and the purchase reciept from amazon. She completed all the paperwork and send me a return label. All done in one call. It was the easiest process and the representative was kind and thorough. Truly amazing! I have my new blender and it works perfectly.

I'll know better after the holidays, the youngst will take it through it's paces. I'll repost.
