I don't think she'd be interested in books if it wasn't for the touch and feel option that these books have. All babies are different, but I definitely recommend these books to try to get your baby to become more interested in books. We put them in the corner of her crib, along with her doll, her 2 teethers. Because she is already over the age of 1, it is not a suffocation risk.
